accordancewithherfaithandhowmuchshebelievedatthetime.Faithisavitalstepinthe
ChristianwalkwiththeLord.Ifyoudonothavefaith,itisimpossibletohaveanddevelopa
relationshipwithGod.Faithisbuiltontrust,youmusttrustthatGodwilldowhatHesaysHe
willdo.Dontexpectamiracleifyoudonothavefaith.
Faithisbelievingsomethingevenifyoucantseeit
Believinginsomethingevenifyoucantseeitatthetimecanbequitedifficultattimes.For
example,ifyouhavefasted,prayed,andaskedinJesusChristsnameforhealingofa
particularillness,yetyoustillhavesymptomsoftheillness,itcanbedifficulttounderstand
thatyoumayhavealreadybeenhealedandthatthesymptomsmaystillbetherebecausethe
devilwantsyoutothinkyouhavenotbeenhealedandtherebyshakingyourfaithandtrustin
theLordscomplete,divineabilitytohealyou.So,notonlydoyouhavetohavefaithwhen
youaskGodforsomethingbutyouhavetoseeitthroughbycontinuingtohavefaithwhile
youawaityourmiracle.
NowFaithisthesubstanceofthingshopedfor,theevidenceofthingsnot
seen.Hebrews11:1
Inordertohavefaithwehavetobelieveinsomethingevenwhentheredoesnotseemtobe
anyproofofitatthetime.Thismeansthatthethingsthatwehopeandprayforwillhappen,if
onlywejustbelievethattheLordhasthepowertomakethemhappenandthattheywill
actuallyhappenwhenyouprayandspeakthemintoexistence.
YoucanaskforanythinginJesusChristsHolynameandHewilldoit
Jesus(Yeshua)saidthatwecanaskanythinginHisnameandHewilldoit.Ofcourse,you
knowyoucannotaskforsinfulthingsordesires.However,youcanaskandiftheLordsees
fittodoitforyouHewilldoitifwhatyouaskisinlinewithHiswillforyou.

Ifyouwanttogetwhatyouprayforyouhavetomakesureyoudonotaskamiss
And even when you ask, you don't get it because your motives areall wrongyou want only
what will give you pleasure. The object is to please God and asking with wrong motives
displeasesHimthereforeHewillnotanswer.

Iwillgiveyouanexamplefrommylife.WhenIwasabout8or9yearsold,Istartedhaving
troublewithmyeyesightinmylefteye.Itoldmymotherandgrandmotheraboutitandthey
tookmetoaneyedoctor,hecouldnotfigureitout!TheeyedoctorsaidIwasblindinmyleft
eyeandthatitwaspermanent.Icouldnotseeandthedoctorsentustoaspecialistin
Madison,Wisconsin.ManytestsweredoneanditwasdeterminedthatIwasinfactblindin
mylefteye.Theeyedoctorhadmadeitperfectlyclearthattherewasnohopewhatsoever
thatmyeyecouldhealbecauseatubeinthebackofmyeyethatcarriesfluidtoit,hadbroke
somehow,thefluidhaddrainedoutandthetubehadshriveledup.Itwasuseless.Therewas
nothingtheycoulddotohelpme.Mygrandmotherandgreatgrandmotherprayedformyeye.I
believedinGodbutIwastooyounganduninformedtorealizethepowerthatmygreat
grandmotheroftenspokeof.Theneverythingchangedwhenmyfamilycameupwithaplanto
takemetomyAunt'schurchinNecedah,WI.Iwaswarnedbeforewearrivedatthechurch,
thatthesepeopleweredifferentthanordinaryChristiansbecausetheycouldactuallyharness
theLord'sawesomepowerandthatGodwouldhealmyeye.Itwasalongdrivefrom
Kenosha,WI.toNecedah,WI.Allthewaythere,theyspokeofthispowerthatthischurch
had.WhenIleftthereIwouldbefine,theyassuredme.Iheardafewcommentsfromone
skepticalrelativesaying,"Yeah,sureitwill."withthedistinctfeelingthattheydidnotbelieve
thatIwouldbehealedatallbutIdidnotletthatdetermyfaith.Wefinallyarrivedatthis
specialchurchandmygreatgrandmotherpulledmetotheside,tellingme.
"Ifyouexpectthis
toworkyouhavetolovetheLordwithallyourheart,youhavetobesavedandyouhaveto
believethatJesuscanhealyou,nomatterwhatanyonesays!"
Wewentintothechurch.The
healingbegan.Theybegantoprayandspeakintongues!Ikeptthinking,IbelievedintheLord
IbelievedJesusdiedformysins.IbelieveIwillbehealednomatterwhatanyonesays!Itwas
veryintenseandIwillneverforgetit!Duringtheprayer,someonetookmeoutsidesaying,
"Thisistoomuch,thisiscrazyitwillneverwork."Ilookedatherasifinadazebecause
indeedIdidfeelthepowermovingthroughmeandinmeandIwillneverforgetit.Everyone
startedcallingouttoustellingus,Wearenotfinishedcomebackin.Weleft.Ifeltasifmy
healinghadstartedbutwasincomplete..thatiswhatIbelieved!

Notlongafterthis,mymothertookmetotheeyedoctorbecauseIkepttellingherIcould
see.Theeyedoctorwasindisbelieftooandsentusbacktothespecialist.Everyonewas
convincedthatIwascheatingthetestinsomeway.Theyputtapeallaroundapatchof
leatheranddidthetestsagain.Theresult?Inowhad80/20vision.Apercentageofmy
eyesighthadbeenrestored!Iheardthedoctorsay(andheputinhisreport),that,"Shortof
anactofGod,thereisnowaypossiblethatshecanseeoutofthateyebutshecan."andI
can!IhavealwaysfeltthatIgottheamountofhealinginaccordancewiththeamountoffaith
thatIhadthatday.Ibelievedmyhealingwasincompleteand,soitwas!Godwasnotfinished
withmeyet!
IfyoudonothavefaithintheLordhewillnotbepleasedwithyou
ItisimportantthatwehaveandkeepfaithinGodbecauseGodrewardsyouifyouseekhim
diligently(doingitwell,withgreatcare,andbeingverythorough).Ifwedonothavefaithin
GodHeisnothappywithus.Ifyouwanttoberewarded(givenrecognitionforyourservice,
efforts,andachievementsbyGodYouMUSThavefaith!
Butwithoutfaithitisimpossibletopleasehim:forhethatcomethtoGodmustbelieve
thatheis,andthatheisarewarderofthemthatdiligentlyseekhim.Hebrews11:6
PleasingGodwillgetyourprayersanswered
IfyoukeepGodsCommandmentsanddowhatispleasingtoGodyoucanfeelconfidentthat
youwillreceivewhatyouaskfor.
