Application procedure for postgraduate (MSc) programmes in English

The following documents are to be submitted by persons applying for admission to


MSc programmes:

BSc degree
Official confirmation of legality of applicants BSc degree 1
Official certificate confirming that applicants BSc degree allows them to apply
for admission to MSc studies at all universities in their country 2
5. Official Transcript of Records with a legend of marks 3
6. Copy of applicants passport 4
7. Doctors report that certificates no contraindications to pursuance of studies in
particular programme
8. Official confirmation of the English language knowledge 5
9. A photocopy of visa or temporal residence card, or permanent residence card,
or other document that allows the applicant to stay in the Republic of Poland
for the period of their studies.*
10. A photocopy of personal insurance plan for the period of studies in the
Republic of Poland to be submitted upon the commencement of classes at
CUT.*
11. Two photos
At first an applicant must send scans of the documents mentioned in points 1-8 to
Ms. Grayna Karcz at gkarcz@pk.edu.pl together with their official translation
into the Polish language by a sworn translator.
After receiving an e-mail with information on admission to CUT the applicant is
obliged to submit original documents to Ms. Grayna Karcz of the Cracow
University of Technology (CUT) International Relations Office upon his/her arrival in
Krakow.

A) Apostille certificate (stamp) countries of the Hague Convention (Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the
applicants country establishes institutions in which the applicant can receive apostille certificate (more
information at www.abc.com.pl/serwis/du/2005/2122.htm)
B) certificate that confirms legality of applicants BSc degree might be received at the Polish
Embassy in the applicants country or at the applicants country Embassy in the Republic of Poland countries that are not parties to the Hague Convention

Document confirming applicants English language competency (for example: certificate or another
document confirming that the applicant graduated from a high school/university where English was the
language of instruction)

Academic calendar
Academic year usually lasts from 1 October to 30 June and is divided into
2 semesters: fall and spring. Fall semester starts on 1 October and lasts through
mid-February and spring semester starts on mid-February and lasts through the end
of June.
