Diplomacy and negotiations dont strike fear in terrorist hearts, though diplomacy has its place.

Some terrorist are made to pay for their crime, while some eventually go scot free. As a lawyer,
adopting just punishment with the principles of wound for wound, burn for burn, and stripe for
stripe can put a measurable check on this inhuman act. The principle here is that every
punishment should be proportionate to crime. I also say we should apply proportionate
punishment to terrorist and host countries. I am not saying that for suicide bombers act, we
should bomb the host countries, hell NO but also we should not apply too light a punishment.
Punishment could come in form of import to export restrictions for host countries that refuses to
extradite or punish terrorist. It could also be in form of economic embargo. There should be a
new and/or reformed law that will check on this evil act. Yes! Just punishment will be
appropriate, but excessive punishment was forbidden. Punishment was sure and swift, but it was
also proportional and fair.
We must note and recognize this terrorism as a new type of military aggression and
counter forces which require governmental action. In 1985, for example, Egyptians liners were
forced down by the United State planes to prevent the escape of other terrorist leaders. Also in
1989, Israeli forces captured Sheik Obeid and crippled the terrorist network by bringing one of
their leaders to justice. This is an undeclared war and congress that we are involved in, and the
president must take the same sorts of actions they would if threatened by a hostile country. The
federal government in this case must work to discourage further terrorist aggression in this
decade. Although using extreme methods to bring about justice, stop and/or pass judgment on
terrorist and terrorism might not be the best option and should be a last resort, but in certain
instances, they are definitely necessary.

Like in the USA which uses profiling and the Patriot Act to serve as a means of terrorism
prevention, I believe this can be adopted by other countries with terrorism threats. In profiling,
there are legal and inherent legal risks. Every cop, for example, runs the risk of arresting,
questioning or frisking the wrong person while the Patriot Act may require amending. In the
USA, without violating basic liberties, the patriot act has proved that its capable of protecting
them from the Islamic terrorists. The goal of the France and the rest of the world as a whole
should be defusing Islamic aggression, and putting a stop to them by whatever means. This isnt
happening anytime soon, for the Muslims are in no way ready to give up on this. They believe it
is a just fight; a fight for Allah, a fight for religion. Then we need to focus on self-defense. The
world as a whole is ours to defend, and we Christians and freedom fighters are willing to defend
it. I repeat, we must fight and defend our precious lands, religion and ourselves from these
animals that kill and terrorize in the name of religion justice. We must stand up to whats right.
This we must do with immediate effect.
