Well experienced in Telecoms/Networking and IT/Software Industries at both Business


and Technical Levels
Well versed in English (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking), thanks to many years
of experience in International Business in Vietnam and Singapore.

I am looking for a job in Hanoi area that needs my Business and Technical experience in
Telecoms/Networking and IT/Software.

WORK EXPERIENCES

From Mar 2012 to present: I work for FPT Information System for Telecoms as a
Presales Manager, Project Coordinator, Technology Researcher I participated in
projects including Billing and Customer Care, Network Management System and
Telecom Infrastructure for foreign customers in Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia using
in-house developed software systems as well as products from IBM (Tivoli Netcool),
Dialogic, Amdocs and Lognet
From Jan 2011 to Feb 2012: I worked for CMC Software as a Business Development
Manager in Software Outsourcing Division to expand the business in English-speaking
markets. CMC is the 2nd largest ICT group in private sector in Vietnam. The group has
about 1,600 employees with more than 200 million US dollars in revenues.
From May 2009 to Dec 2010: I worked for LDTECH, a software outsourcing company
serving customers in United States and New Zealand. I am responsible for business
development, sales and marketing. I also managed project implementation for a New
Zealand customer including business analysis, system design, coding and testing.
From November 2006 to May 2007: I worked as a Senior Engineer for Tricom Asia, a
foreign telecoms company in Vietnam, involving in the project development for a
Submarine Cable System linking Vietnam and Hong Kong with VNPT (Vietnam Post
and Telecommunication Group)

From March 2005 to October 2006: I worked for DTT/HanoiCTT, a software and IT
training group of companies. I helped develop its software outsourcing business with an
US business partner and customers.
From July 2002 to August 2004: I worked as a Product Manager, Account Sales Manager
then Service Sales Manager for Ericsson Vietnam responsible for Customer Solutions,
Sales and Marketing. I managed customer relationship with Saigon Postel and closed a
deal for PSTN and ISDN public switching system. I also handled service sales to VNPT
to support the customer's international gateway, national tandem and mobile switching
systems. In addition to doing sales, I also worked on bidding documents for VNPT ADSL
Roll-out Project, VNPT Billing and Customer Care System, Hanoi Telecom's CDMA
Mobile Network Roll-out among other projects.
From November 2000 to May 2002: I worked as a Customer Service Manager for Global
One/Equant based in Singapore. Global One/Equant at the time was a member of France
Telecom Group. I managed customers' services for Credit Lyonnais, Agilent
Technologies, Siemens, ExxonMobil, International SOS... The Telecom Services
involved were ATM, Frame Relay, Call Center, Voice VPN, leased lines...
From February 1997 to October 2000: I worked as a System Engineer for Global One
Vietnam. Global One at the time was a global joint venture of Deutsche Telekom, France
Telecom and Sprint. I worked in sales support, project implementation and customer
service. The customers were VNPT, HNPT (Hanoi Post and Telecommunication), VDC
(Vietnam Data Communication). I was involved in the projects to connect VNPT's
Internet gateway to Global One's backbone in the US, roll-out multi-service data
communications network for HNPT, upgraded VDC's X.25 network to Frame Relay...
From September 1995 to February 1997: I worked as an IT Engineer for Vietnam
Telecom International in Network Engineering and Operations Department. I managed
the Local Area Network for VTI's head office and developed software to manage the
traffic data. I was also involved in developing requirements for the Operational Support,
Billing and Customer Care systems.
