Dear Christian Friends:

In this Twentieth Century v/orld of rapidly changing values* physical,

mental, moral, political (and for some, even spiritual), it's v/onderful to know that there is One who doesn't change, Jesus Christ,"who

IS the same yesterday, today, and forever" And that His Gospel
still meets the spiritual needs of all who hear and obey it

I_had the privilege of taking the confession

of Faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God of our daughter, Geneva

(Veva) age 11, her cousin Francisco (Pancho) age 12, and a fine
appearing young man, Luis (Louis) Lino, and watching our oldest
son, Oscar, baptize them.

We, of course, were overjoyed that these from our own home, Veva

and_Pancho, accepted and obeyed Christ at an early age, Pray for

their testimony among their schoolmates and friends in the neighbor
hood.

Let me tell you a little about Luis so that you ,can pray intelli
gently for him. He is an ex-officer of the Mexican Navy, having

enlisted v/hen he was only 1^ years of age.

Says he has seen a lot

of the worldlpnd for the last few years has been searching despera

tely for that which he found in" the Gospel: Peace of mind; a
purpose in life; and an opportunity to serve his fellow-man.

Luis is devouring all the Christian books he can ger his hands on-says he wants to learn how to help others like himself.

Thus we

will be starting classes for "New Converts" for the three of them,
then we will see later what other classes we think will benefit

Luis especially.

Could this be the break-through we have been praying about into

the new, cultured, educated Mexican upper middle class of profes
sional people such as live in our neighborhooddoctors, dentists,
lawyers, administrators, agronomists, University professors,
district managers, etc???

Pray for Veva, Pancho, Luis and all of us here, won't you? Thanks,
