Pattern Notes

One strand of A and 2 of B are held


tog for entire hat and scarf.
Scarf is worked across the width;
long strands are left at either end
to form the fringe.

With 3 strands of yarn held tog, cast

Join without twisting, place
marker between between first and

Knit 10 rnds.

end of each row, and sliding sts to
opposite end of needle before beg
each new row, continue in pat for
17 more rows (3 reps of pat).
Bind off loosely.

Finishing

Make an overhand knot with


tails, using 6 strands of yarn for
eachknot.
Trim fringe evenly.
