Turning movement get behind the enemy and steal control of his
deployment zone, taking a good position and forcing his movement to
become disjointed in attempts to respond. Easier said than done
Spitting Jaws: Take secure defensive position and set up two lines
of troops in a slight bowed formation (away from the enemy), let
enemy advance through hail of fire, concentrated on as few units as
possible. Once at close range hold the line whilst outflanking and
counter charging with units held in reserve behind front line.
Press and Strike: Advance army as quickly as possible in three rows
with the front line at a 20 degree slant to that of the enemys front
lines. The front row comprises maneuverable, expendable troops as
shields for crack troops in the second row. The third row is of fast
shock troops positioned toward the flanks. Half of the army engages
first and presents a lure to pull the enemy out of position where it can
be flanked by the remaining half. If the ruse fails implement the real
plan charge the expendable troops to hold the enemy, maneuver
the crack troops for an optimum follow up charge whilst moving the
third row out to perform a double envelopment
Dice: think you often roll low numbers? try with troops with good
attack, poor armour and low moral.
