SAMBONG

Preparation:

Indications:

kidney stones
wounds and cuts
rheumatism
diarrhea
spasms
colds and coughs

Sambong tea
1. gather fresh sambong leaves, cut in small
pieces
2. wash with fresh water
3. boil 50 grams of sambong leaves to a liter of
water
4. let it seep for 10 minutes
5. remove from heat
6. drink while warm 4 glasses a day for best
results.
Sambong poultice
1. gather fresh leaves and roots
2. wash with fresh clean water
3. pound in a mortar
4. grounded leaves may be applied or a juice
extract may be used

AKAPULKO

Preparation:

Akapulko tea
1. pound or cut a cup of Akapulko seeds,
leaves and flowers into manageable sizes
2. let it seep in boiling water for 10 to 15
minutes
3. let it cool and drink a cup three times a day
For skin disease
1. pound Akapulko leaves
2. squeeze the juice
3. apply topically on affected area twice a day
until cured

NIYOG-NIYOGAN

Lagundi concoction

6. lagundi concoction can be stored in suitable
glass container for later consumption

5. strain and let cool
6. to use as mouthwash, gargle
7. to use as wound disinfectant, wash affected
areas 2 to 3 times a day
8. use as vaginal wash especially after child
birth
