While every attempt has been made to give accurate measurements, yardage requirements, and construction directions; this does not allow personal variations in measuring, cutting, and or sewing. The
enclosed directions were used in the construction of the original quilt.

Sewing Instructions:
CONSTRUCTION: 1/4 seam allowance
Fabrics will be paired in blocks as shown in the photo of the quilt.
Please note that layout of directional fabric is very important!!
Each block is sewn as shown in the photo.

Sew a 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 black strip to each fabric 3 1/2 x 7 1/2 Press.
Lay out as shown with a 2 1/2 ta dot block in the center.
Start sewing at the arrow - top sewing 1/4 from the end of the square.
Next sew the section to the right.
Continue sewing all around the block.

Repeat for a total of 16 blocks - 11 1/2 x 11 1/2.

Layout blocks in 4 rows of 4 blocks.
Sew blocks together with BLACK strips - 1 1/2 x 11 1/2
Sew rows together with BLACK strips 1 1/2 x 47 1/2
Sew top and bottom border to the quilt with BLACK strips 2 1/2 x 47 1/2
Sew side borders to the quilt with BLACK strips 2 1/2 x 51 1/2
The backing fabric will be cut into two lengths - 1 1/2 yds. each. Sew together.
The 5 additional BLACK strips 2 1/2 x width of the fabric will be sewn end to end for
French Fold Binding.
