Re-apply the padlock to the test access cover interlock in the wiring panel and re-lock the door.
Replace the two auxiliary fuses, TRIPPING +VE and TRIPPING VE into their bases on the VCB cubicle.
Check that the Interlock Device is in the OPERATE BREAKER position.
Remove the padlock from the VCB Trip button.
Operate the VCB Control Selector (CS1) to TRIP position and observe that the VCB mechanical indication is registering OF

Open the generator high voltage terminal box. Prove dead using a suitably rated voltmeter. Apply additional earthing and dang

Now the Proof of isolation key can be turned clockwise and prevent the release of the earthing key.
