Since transformer feeders incorporate an outgoing isolator (OISOL), OPEN OISOL, to release the additional truck interlock
Pull the truck out of the cubicle using the two handles onto the temporary guides/platform.
Stabilize the truck by setting the two outriggers and locking each with the sprung pin.
Check that the circuit earth bar is fully seated into the circuit spring contacts and apply a padlock to the mechanism.
Remove the HV fuses, retract outriggers and fully return the truck into the cubicle and the outgoing isolator OISOL closed. T
Place a Danger/Isolation notice on the truck.
The transformer is now isolated and earthed on the HV side.
At the LV switchboard 4202 at the rear side of the incomer open the panel.
Prove dead with a suitable voltmeter the the incomer feeder cables are dead.
Apply additional earths on the terminals.
Reset all associated alarms at the 2G MMI.
Now the voltmeter connections can be checked.
De-isolation of the Transformer.
Remove the additional portable earth at rear side of the incomer at SB4202.
Close the panel.
Unlock the L.V. ACB and return it to service
Returning the ACB means putting it to service position. To do so,
Un-padlock (if fitted) the hinged access flap and open it or the left hand flap if
two are provided to expose the interlock knob and interlock plate. Holding the
Manual Trip push button pressed, turn the interlock knob in a clockwise
direction to disclose the isolating sector socket and also maintain the Manual
Trip pushbutton pressed in that position. Insert the operating and racking
handle and lower, repeating the operation when the second sector socket is
exposed so as to return the ACB to the service position in two full strokes.
Again holding the Manual Trip pushbutton pressed return the interlock plate
Close the LV switchboard bus-section ACB (R0) as follows only when the HV bus-section is closed. . (Note: - Incase this BusClosing the ACB means switching it ON. Open the hinged access flap door and
insert the closing handle into the hole in the handle drum. The handle may
point down after insertion. If so, raise the handle reset the spring mechanism.
A steady downward pressure will cause the spring mechanism to go over the
toggle thus closing the breaker. Verify the mechanical indication on the ACB.
Verify that the currents are balanced on both the incomers. Open the TR-4202 section feeder to SB-4202 (R1) ACB by pressing
Isolate the ACB M-pact 20 type as follows:
Isolating the ACB means withdrawing it from the service position. To do so,
Un-padlock (if fitted) the hinged access flap and open it or the left hand flap if
two are provided to expose the interlock knob and interlock plate. Holding the
Manual Trip push button pressed, turn the interlock knob in a clockwise
direction to disclose the isolating sector socket and also maintain the Manual
Trip pushbutton pressed in that position. Insert the operating and racking

exposed so withdrawing the ACB to the isolated position in two full strokes.
Again holding the Manual Trip pushbutton pressed return the interlock plate
to its original position by rotating the Interlock knob in the anticlockwise
direction. To retain the ACB in the isolated position, close the flap and padlock
it. Attach Danger / Isolation notice.
At the VC truck for TR 4202 operate the switch OFF/LOCAL/REMOTE to OFF position and verify that the contactor has drop
