  • This carries a ‘Y’ grade which is equivalent to an ‘F’.

  • If you are receiving any scholarship or financial loan will also be reduced by 25% in the following semester.

What is it about?

  • The design approach to electronic circuits and systems,

    • Basic amplifier concepts,

    • Introduction to operational amplifiers and their applications,

    • P-N junction diodes characteristics and applications,

    • Bipolar junction transistors characteristics,

      • DC biasing and AC analysis,

    • Operation of FET,

      • DC biasing and AC analysis, frequency response and Bode plots.

Topics

  • Topic 1, Introduction to Electronics

  • Topic 2, Semiconductor Materials and Diodes

  • Topic 3, Diode Circuits

  • Topic 4, The Bipolar Junction Transistor

  • Topic 5, Basic BJT Amplifiers

  • Topic 6, The Field Effect Transistor

  • Topic 7, Basic FET Amplifiers

  • Topic 8, Ideal Operational Amplifier and Op-Amp Circuits

Let Me Hear Your Voice

  • Why you may keep the question to yourself,

    • 1. May be you asked it already and got an answer (but you aren’t satisfied).

    • 2. May be you feel you should know the answer (but you don’t).

    • 3. May be you think everyone else understands what was said (they probably don’t).

  • Remember,

  • The Only Stupid Question is the One You Don’t Ask
