Eligible to work in New Zealand

aspiring geek
I am interested in how technology can be
used to improve business efficiency and
effectiveness. Augmented reality,
automation, and innovation of particular
interest to me, and I enjoy imagining just
how far technology can go. I am also
passionate about education's role in society,
and would like to work with an organisation
with aligned interests in both of these areas.

Experience

Spark 64 Ltd., Auckland, Dec 2014-Mar 2015

Summer Intern
As the final stage of the Microsoft Student Accelerator program, two of my peers and I were placed at Spark 64 Ltd.
This has enabled the team and I to get hands on experience in the business, and as a result, become more intuitive,
progressive, and well-rounded individuals, and more effective team players.
Prochem Ltd., Auckland, 2009-2014
Assistant Product Manager
My primary role is as Assistant Product Manager, where I work in the factory, packing off products for storage or sale.
Occasionally I am called upon to perform tests, prepare petri dishes for culturing, and reading the bacteria counts on
the petri dishes once they've been cultured. In the office, I am responsible for filing and generally keeping the office
tidy and sorted. I am rather technologically savvy, and this allows me to handle many computer or technology related
dilemmas in the office. I am currently liaising with relation to creating the company website.
Molly Morpeth Canaday Trust, Whakatane, Jan 2012
Exhibition Hand
My responsibilities were rather broad for this role. It was for a temporary exhibition and art awards in Whakatane, and
I did everything from hanging work, to making sure the exhibition walls were pristine and lint-free, to serving drinks
and hor d'oeuvres, to repackaging artworks to be sent back to the appropriate artists.
Jacinta Lu, Auckland, 2011
Photography Internship
This compulsory internship was part of the advanced diploma of fine arts phase of my bachelor of fine arts. Through
doing this, I had my first exposure to working to commercial briefs, and trying to meet a clients needs.
Bestow Gifts, Auckland, Nov 2008-Jan 2009
Shop Assistant
I worked on the store front, communicating with customers to ascertain their needs, as well as preparing a number of
the gift baskets that had been ordered.
