Instruction:
1. You should carry your original certificates of academic
qualification (for verification).
2. Carry a valid photo identity card (PAN/Driving
License/College ID card etc).
3. Carry Original CAT/XAT/CMAT Score Card /
Downloaded Score Card.
4. Recent Passport size photograph 2 no.
5. The GD/PI process may continue for the entire day.
Come prepared accordingly.
6. The institute does not provide accommodation for stay.
Kindly make your own arrangements for stay, if
required.
7. Normally it is not possible to change the date or venue
for GD/PI at any location. In case of an emergency the
request can be made via email to change the date or
venue for GD/PI.
8. In case you are not able to attend your GD/PI at any
location other than Ranchi. You may attend the same
at Ranchi on 24/03/2015 with prior intimation via
email.
9. If you have applied to XISS and meet the cut offs and
your name is not in the shortlist, you need not panic.
Just mail your CAT/XAT/CMAT Roll and name to
admissions@xiss.ac.in we will accommodate you after
verifying.

10. XISS, Ranchi has not appointed and/or authorised

any admission agents/counselling centres at
anywhere in the country. If any individual or
organization claims to be representing XISS,
Ranchi for admission bring it our notice by giving
details. We will initiate necessary action against
such person/organization. Payments made to any
such unauthorised agents/parties will be the sole
responsibility of the candidate.

Seats Available:
Total number of seats available in Two Years Full-time Post
Graduate Diploma Programmes in Management (PGDM) are
seventy five (75) each in Human Resource Management and
Rural Management and sixty (60) each in Information
Technology,
Finance
and
Marketing
Management
specialization. Out of the above fifty per cent seats are
reserved for SC/ST and Christian candidates.
Eligibility for Admission:
Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM program at
the Institute is three / four years bachelors degree with
minimum 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST) in any
discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities.
However preference will be given to Engineering, Economics,
Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduates
and candidates with relevant work experience.
Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their
graduate degree examination in academic year 2014-15 are
also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such
candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of
admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where
they are studying to that effect. Such candidates if finally
selected at XISS, Ranchi must clear their Graduation
examination with 55% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST)
by August 2015.

Three stage admission process is followed by the Institute as
per the guidelines of AICTE. These stages are

A candidate desirous of seeking admission in the Institute will

have to appear in an all India level management admission
test organized by XLRI Jamshedpur (XAT 2015 on January 4th
2015) or IIM Indore (CAT 2014, Nov 16 & 22, 2014) or AICTE,
Delhi (CMAT Sept 2014 ). For admission to batch 2015-17,
scores of XAT 2015, CAT 2014 and AICTE-CMAT Sept 2014
ONLY will be accepted. Aspiring candidates will have to apply
online for appearing in one or more exams by visiting

The institute will accept only online registrations. The

registrations will remain open from Sep 22, 2014 to Feb
15, 2015. For online registrations, the Registration Fee can
be paid through online transactions using Credit / Debit / ATM
cards / Online Banking. The fee can also be paid by Bank
Draft drawn in favour of Xavier Institute of Social Service',
payable at Ranchi.
