settlements, conducting evidentiary investigations, performing legal research, writing demand letters and

resolving complex disputes. Extensive courtroom experience in both District and Superior Court in many
different counties throughout North Carolina representing clients in criminal trials, criminal pleadings,
civil trials, show cause hearings, probation violations, motions for appropriate relief, bond modifications,
expungements, and appeals. Comprehensive experience drafting a wide variety of legal instruments (e.g.,
wills, living wills (healthcare power of attorney), power of attorney, claims, counterclaims, requests to
