1 NEW FEATURES

Authentication
A major focus of this release is authentication and with it brings a number of new features. These
include expanded Active Directory integration, custom authentication providers and multiple
authentication providers per instance of Xtraction. User accounts can be associated with more than
one set of credentials, allowing users to be authenticated by different authentication providers, but
still have a single Xtraction account.

Active Directory Authentication

Authentication has been expanded to provide more integration with Active Directory users and
groups. Users can now be authorized to access Xtraction based on their Active Directory group
membership. If a user is not a member of the appropriate Active Directory group, they will not be
allowed access to Xtraction.
Further to this, Xtraction user account attributes can be updated based on the Active Directory
group(s) a user is a member of. In the example below, if a user is a member of the ServiceDesk
Active Directory group, when that user logs on to Xtraction, they will be setup with the Xtraction
Designer role, added to the Service Desk Xtraction group and assigned the Service Desk data
policy.

Linked Dashboards
Where you have many dashboards that are related, you can now setup links between dashboards, or
components within a dashboard, to other related dashboards. An example of this would be where
you had a high level overview dashboard with lower level dashboards showing more detail. You can
now setup links to enable easy navigation between those related dashboards.

Start-up Defaults
A previous version of Xtraction enabled a default favourite to be loaded at start-up. This version goes
further allowing default refresh settings to be set on start-up. The first dashboard in your default
favourite will be loaded automatically and you can control automatic refresh, refresh time and cycle
settings.

Currency Formatting
A new currency value format is available to use within your dashboard components.

Date Filter Before/After Options

Up until now, Xtraction allowed between filters on date conditions. This version brings with it
before and after operations for date conditions. With this you can setup date filters along the lines
of Open Date Before Last Month and Change Start Date After Next Month.

Doughnut Chart
A new chart type is available the Doughnut chart.

Other Features
As well as the features mentioned above, some other notable features have been added:

Administrators can now log off other users

Scheduler reloads configuration/data model/licence without requiring a restart
New Dashboard layouts
Data model editor
o Multiline editing on table field
o Find replace on join conditions
