ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have introduced a
Scheme of Vocational Education during the year 1984-85 and 1985-86 in
345 schools based on the recommendation of the V.R.Reddy Committee
report with a view to make the pupils learning in the schools are not only
eligible for higher education but to equip themselves with the Vocational
skills required for gainful employment. At present, the scheme is being
implemented in 297 High Schools and in 48 Mandal Vocational
Educational Centers in the State. 1030 Part-Time Vocational Instructors
are being engaged in Government, Aided and Local Body High Schools to
impart Vocational Education,
and they are being paid an amount of
Rs.3,500/- per month as honorarium.

In the reference 3rd read above, the Vocational Instructors
Association of School Education Department, A.P., Hyderabad has
represented to the Government, to regularize the services of Part-Time
Vocational Instructors, who are working for the last 23 years.

In the reference 4th read above, the Director of School Education,
Hyderabad has submitted a proposal to the Government for regularization
of services of 1030 Part-Time Vocational Instructors who possessed the
qualification prescribed by Government at the time of recruitment and who
were recruited by the District Selection Committee duly suppressing the
same number of vacant Craft Teachers posts which are available in the
Department.

The Government in the reference 6th read above, have continued
the permanent/temporary/supernumerary posts including 1283 Craft
Teachers posts for a further period upto 28.02.2009 in School Education
Department.

Government after careful examination of the proposal, decided to
regularize the services of Part-Time Vocational Instructors in the existing
(p.t.o.)

Craft Teachers vacancies and accordingly, hereby regularize the
services of 1030 Part-Time Vocational Instructors who were re-engaged in
the Schools in the State in June, 2008 for the academic year 2008-2009
as per the orders issued in the reference 5th read above, in the scale of
pay of Rs.5470-12385 by suppressing 1030 vacant Craft Teacher posts,
with effect from the date of issue of the orders. The Pay and allowances
shall be debited to the relevant Head of Account under various
Managements, as per rules in force.

The Director of School Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take
necessary action accordingly.

This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department, vide
their U.O.No.4954/84/A1/PC.III/2009, dated 13.02.2009.
