In our Industry We Fabricate jobs Like, Ceiling Girders, Plus Columns, Box Columns,
Buck Stay Beams, Welded Beams, Hanger Posts, Wind Mill Towers, Ducts(Elbow Duct,
Y-Duct, Transition Duct, Hoppers..,etc.
My Responsibilities:
Preparing Job Card for the Ongoing Job.
Preparing Report for Daily Work.
Inspection of Raw Material Traceability, Identification Punch
Sized Material Profile Inspection at Fit-Up Stage.
Shop Auditing, whether the rods are baked, and use them in flask oven and the flux Used for

auto welding are baked .

Checking the profile of the fillet and ensure the defects found during welding.
Witnessing Liquid Penetrate Test in all Back Gouging areas.
Checking the markings of items to be welded before welding like lifting eye, ribs, load

bearings, stool brackets, Pad and Angles.

Individual Assembly inspection.
Checking the profile of Edge Preparation in the plates.
Inspection for Longitudinal and Circumferential Seam Fit Up.
Checking the Circumference during rolling and after Re-rolling.
Checking the length and Orientation of the section after the Cir-Seam Fit-up.
Inspection of Dimensional Report at Flange Fit-Up Stage.
Internally checking the internals like ladder bushes, Cable duct bushes, Platform bushes,

Anchors placed inside the section.

Closing the Stage by Stage Inspection According to QCP & ITP.
Final Dimensional report will be taken before the Third Party/Customer inspection.
Inspection of Flaws in all welded Metal and Parent Metal before the TPI/Customer

Inspection.
Forward the section to Blasting and Painting yard.
After painting is completed inspection of all the internals are fixed for the Pre-Dispatch

Inspection for the Final Stamping and Quality Release Note.

Closing the final stage of inspection
Finally the job will be dispatched.
