What I learned from the urban trees PowerPoint, I learn that air pollution can
affect the urban area. Air pollution can be impact people and the
Urbanization on Trees by spreading the air pollution. I also learned about the
drought that when its not raining everything get dry and they need water
but if they dont get water then the fire starts and every things burn then.
For example Drought and competition for food, along with a lack of fear of
humans, is driving wildlife to strange places to seek something to eat,
according to wildlife officers. As summer arrives, the DFW expects many
episodes where hungry wildlife will wander into urban areas to look for
something to eat. I learned about climate, that climate as urban areas
develop, changes occur in their landscape. Buildings, roads, and other
infrastructure replace open land and vegetation. Surfaces that were once
permeable and moist become impermeable and dry. These changes cause
urban regions to become warmer than their rural surroundings, forming an

"island" of higher temperatures in the landscape. On a hot, sunny summer

day, the sun can heat dry, exposed urban surfaces, such as roofs and
pavement, to temperatures 5090F (2750C) hotter than the air. I also
learned about the plant species they are diversity is important,

conditions. I also learned some information about Urban Reforestation Site
Assessment- the Center for Watershed Protection developed a field form for
conducting an assessment of urban planting sites called the Urban
Reforestation Site Assessment. The URSA is designed to collect and compile
basic information about the sites climate, topography, vegetation, soils,
hydrology, potential planting conflicts and planting and maintenance
logistics. The ultimate is goal is to collect enough detail to develop a
planting plan for the site. The URSA can be modified to suit a particular
communitys needs. Some extra information about Urban area - The world's
urban population in 1950 of just 746 million has soared in the decades since.

surpassed the number living in rural areas (3.41 billion) and since then the
world has become more urban than rural.[2] This was the first time that the
majority of the world's population lived in a city.[3] In 2014 there were 7.25
billion people living on the planet,[4] of which the global urban population
comprised 3.9 billion. The Population Division of the United Nations
Department of Economic and Social Affairs at that time predicted the urban

population would grow to 6.4 billion by 2050, with 37% of that growth to
come from three countries: China, India and Nigeria. .I will recommend to
