1.The Company shall develop, implement and maintain procedures for identification of hazard,
assessment of risks and selection of controls. To implement and maintain this procedures the
company must involve all the workers in order to ensure that there is little resistance towards this
change. During risks assessment the company should distinguish between high risk areas from
those that are considered low risk areas
2. I Would ensure that the senior finance managers and all the staff at the four divisions of Blue
sea ways are involved in the implementation of the project. The project manager should also
educate all the employees about the importance of implementing the project so as to reduce the
fear of the unknown.
3. About whether the some of the employees of Deep Blue sea ways will lose their jobs they
should be informed that the project is aimed at making the work of the finance staff at the head
office easier. It will streamline data coming from the 4 branches. The employees should know
that the aim of the project is to improve service delivery and not to take away their jobs. Also the
finance staff at the head office can make sound economic decisions that can be beneficial to the
company.(Ikah, 2009).
4. To correct underfunding of the project the company should seek additional funds to cover the
$ 2 million deficit that they are lacking to fund the project. The company can source for funds
from other sources from financial institutions like banks in form of loans. If this deficit is
corrected in advance then the project is likely to succeed.

5. Adequate support in terms machinery needed and its installation should be provided by Deep
Blue sea ways. The finance managers and all the workers in the four divisions should be given a
chance to test the system and give their opinions on how to improve the system.
6. The workers shall report to their managers any safety concerns and hazards at their work
place. Workers should act in a responsible and reasonable manner in order to achieve safety and
conducive working environment. They should also attend all the training sessions required.
7. The health and safety committee will ensure that the company complies with the requirements
of Ontarios legislation. These legislations require the employer and the employee to work
together to ensure that there is safety at their work place. The committee should also conduct
inspections at quarterly intervals to identify potential hazards and make recommendations for
improvement.
