TAN SRI AHMAD RAZALI MERIT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD


The Tan Sri Ahmad Razali (TSAR) Merit Scholarship Award is oered to deserving students who demonstrate excellent academic achievements and exemplary
leadership attributes, participate actively in extracurricular activities and have received outstanding recognition due to notable achievement.
Named after the late Tan Sri Ahmad Razali (Chairman of UCSI University Council from 1998 - 2001), this scholarship award provides full tuition fee waiver
plus shared accommodation on campus throughout the students undergraduate study period at UCSI University.
The TSAR Merit Scholarship Award is only opened to Malaysian students who are enrolled in any of the degree programme or foundation programme
leading to a degree at UCSI University. , EXCEPT for Medicine and Pharmacy. (Scholarship applicants for Nursing and Music programmes are required to
meet and satisfy the additional qualifying criteria set up by the respective school through direct application.)

Candidates must attend a compulsory selection audition and placement tests.

Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.80 in every semester, below which the Scholarship Award will be revoked.
Maintain their discipline, attendance and exemplary behaviour throughout their studies at UCSI University.
Notify UCSI University within 2 weeks of oer acceptance of the twin-sharing university accommodation oered, after which the oer will be withdrawn and will not
be redeemable or exchangeable for cash.

UCSI UNIVERSITY TRUST A-LEVEL SCHOLARSHIP


This Scholarship is oered to new intake students pursuing A-Level programme at UCSI University. It is opened to those who obtained at least 7A+/As in the SPM
or O-Level Examination taken in year 2012.
Below are the scholarship oered against the number of distinctions achieved:

Successful recipients must maintain a minimum 3Bs (or 70% pass) in every semester, below which the Scholarship will be revoked.

** The amount will be disbursed equally over 3 semesters of the study.

The UCSI University Trust Scholarship is opened to Malaysian students who enrolled in any of the degree programme or foundation programme leading to
a degree at UCSI University, EXCEPT for Medicine and Pharmacy. (Scholarship applicants for Nursing and Music programmes are required to meet and
satisfy the additional qualifying criteria set up by the respective school through direct application.)
Current students who show excellent academic grades and track record for at least one year while at UCSI University, may apply for the Scholarship.
This scholarship oers full or partial tuition fee waivers to candidates who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements and participate actively in
extracurricular activities.

Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.70 (full scholarship) or 3.20 (partial scholarship) in every semester, below which the Scholarship will be revoked.
Maintain their discipline, attendance and exemplary behaviour throughout their studies at UCSI University.

UCSI UNIVERSITY TRUST SPORTS BURSARY


This Bursary is opened to any state and/ or national athlete who enrolled in any of the degree programme or foundation programme leading to a degree at
UCSI University, EXCEPT for Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing.
Successful state athlete applicants will be awarded a 75% tuition fee waiver while national athlete applicants will receive a 100% tuition fee waiver to study
at UCSI University.
Applicants must be a State or National Athlete*** veried by the National Sports Council of Malaysia and the respective Sports Association.
A player who represents the state in sports at the state level games/sports/events
A player who represents the country in sports at the national and international level games/sports/events

Pass the minimum grade set by the respective faculty at the UCSI University.
Maintain their sports achievements throughout their studies at UCSI University at state or national level.
Serve and contribute towards the promotion of sports activities at UCSI University.
Maintain their discipline, attendance and exemplary behaviour throughout their studies at UCSI University.
UCSI University Trust reserves the right to revoke the Bursary if the above Terms and Conditions are not met.

Deadlines for application to reach the UCSI University Trust


Jan 2013 Intake : 8 Dec 2012 & 31 Dec 2012 (A-Level)

Mar 2013 Intake : 28 Mar 2013 (A-Level)

Jul 2013 Intake : 8 Jun 2013 & 28 Jun 2013 (A-Level)

Sep 2013 Intake : 2 Aug 2013

May 2013 Intake : 5 Apr 2013

Apart from the specic terms and conditions prescribed for each scholarship/ bursary, all applicants must:
1. Be a registered full-time student at UCSI University.
2. Complete the UCSI University Trust Scholarship/Bursary application form obtained either at UCSI University Trust Oce, at the UCSI University or downloaded from
www.ucsi.edu.my or www.ucsiuniversitytrust.com
3. Furnish true and accurate information, failing which their application will be withdrawn without prior notice.
4. Forecast result is accepted for application if the ocial result has not been released at the point of new intake.
5. Submit application form to the UCSI University Trust before the submission deadlines. (Please refer to the instructions on submission)
6. Submit their applications early for prompt approval. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
7. Produce certied true copies of examination results and other supporting documents stipulated in the form during the interview.
8. NOT be bonded to or be a recipient of any nancial aid or award/scholarship/bursary from other educational institutions or organisations.

Shortlisted applicants will be notied by the UCSI University Trust via email or sms of the date, time and venue of the interview to be conducted.
Successful applicants will be informed by the UCSI University Trust via email within 2 weeks after the interview, they must conrm acceptance of the scholarship
within 2 weeks, failing which it will be automatically withdrawn.
Scholarship /Bursary oered is based on actual results only and will be eected from the date an ocial oer is made.
Awardees have to sign an agreement with the UCSI University Trust and observe the terms and conditions as set therein.
Awardees need to maintain high academic and exemplary behaviour throughout their studies at UCSI University.
Awardees are to participate actively in the Universitys sports, extracurricular and other relevant activities.
Awardees are to voluntarily contribute eort and time of not more than 4 hours a week or not less than 50 hours per normal semester or less than 25 hours for the
short semester to assist the UCSI University and the UCSI University Trust in its various oce and community projects
The Scholarship/Bursary awarded is in the form of tuition fee waiver for the duration oered and is neither transferable to another candidate nor exchangeable for cash.
Awardees agree to pay back the scholarship amount consumed up to date in case of withdrawal.
In the event of a dispute on the eligibility for the Scholarship/Bursary, the decision made by the Scholarship Selection Committee is nal and no appeals will be entertained.
The UCSI University Trust reserves the right to decide on the quantum and number of Scholarships and Bursary to be awarded or revoked.
Scholarship/bursary may be terminated at any time in the event of gross misconduct or failure to meet the required academic grades. In such event, the awardees must
reimburse UCSI University Trust the amount of scholarship received up to the termination date.

form, and agree that UCSI University Trust reserves the right to change the selection criteria and Scholarship policy without prior notication. The nal decision to award the
scholarship is at the sole discretion of UCSI University Trust. The Trust reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship should information furnished in the application be found to be
false/ misleading/ untrue.
