of the famous Shakespeare heroine.

This marvellous Renaissance building once used to be the city hall. A true
architectural gem fitted with beautiful statues.

Just a short walk from the city centre are these charming Renaissance gardens, ideal for afternoon walks, with a beautiful villa in the middle.

These former Austrian barracks are now closed, but the architecture and
the amazing view of the town is worth the climb.

An excellent, but well-hidden restaurant with lovely atmosphere. The

menu emphasises seafood, but there are other dishes, too.

If you want delicious grilled meat while in Verona, this is the spot. Great
setting next to the Arena.

Verona's newest bar featuring charming atmosphere and good music.

The owners are very friendly and English-speaking.

A lesser-known Romanesque church, dating back to the 5th century.
Houses beautiful marble sarcophagi and several relics.

This theatre is trying to perform opera in a different way and are quite
successful. If you like the genre, absolutely visit.
