COLLEGE UNBOUND IS FOR YOU!

With a parole and probation system that is underfunded and overburdened,

moving someone from incarceration back into the community is often a challengng process. Recently released individuals face serious difficulties attempting to
finish an education on the outside that was started behind prison walls. There is
a lack of support systems and many ex-offenders are ill-equipped to juggle the
competing demands of pursuing a college education while re-learning how to
ntegrate back into society. Our aim is to reduce recidivism rates while simultaneously increasing college graduation rates for individuals who have started
post-secondary education on the inside and are looking to complete on the
outside.
