Dealing with Different Types of Bosses

What should a boss do? Well, a boss is a person who employs or

superintends workers; in other words, manager. He or she needs to maintain
control of their employees, they also need to be strict but, at the same time,
they need to be a person that their workers can trust. But some bosses take
advantage of that and use different managerial skills or techniques that can
be barbaric. Thats why we can find different types of bosses with different
styles. Although there are five common types of bosses, I will describe three
of them.
Learning to deal with it is a big step to becoming a successful worker.
First we have the boss with superiority complex which is the one that loves
screaming. He looks for opportunities to shout at others. Then, we have the
boss who brandishes his power. This is the one that takes great pride in
waving his power and authority around the office and his house. Next, we
have the boss who doesnt belong; this is the one who gives the impression
that he or she has been promoted into a position that is not fit for him or her.

Then we have the boss who intimidates; the one that tries to get things done
by issuing commands. Finally, we have the boss who excels and influences;
this is the one that knows how to efficiently manage the company and his
employees.
You may think how to deal with different types of bosses. There are many
ways of dealing with each type of bosses, you just need to do it right.
Managing a screaming boss is easy because the more you accept his verbal
blows, the more he believes he is right. Several ways to deal with a thing
self-esteem boss is to not break the rules too often, showing him respect,
and making him feel that he is the big boss. To deal with an insecure boss
you can offer him good advice and you can easily befriend him. The best way
to deal an intimidating boss is to respect his privacy, and never interact with
him unnecessarily. Last but not least, dealing with this confident and good
boss is never a problem if you do your work correctly. At the beginning it
could be hard to work with a challenging boss but throughout the time youre
going to learn how to deal with it.
You will find different types of bosses and learning to manage them is part
of development. One thing an employee should learn about his or her boss is
that they are not just leaders; they are human too. They have their
preferences and dislikes. If you do a good job, you will be able to work, not
only for them, but also with them. In conclusion, managing any type of boss

and doing mistakes is part of growing up in your professional carrier. You just
need to be open to upward feedback and keep looking forward.
