Work summary

About 10 years of experience as an instrumentation and control systems engineer in installation,

maintenance, commissioning and development co-ordination of instruments and control systems in
Desalination Plant projects.
Leading a team consists of instrument Technicians, Instrument fitters & Electrician for installation &
commissioning and maintenance of process control instrumentation field.
Supporting site work and resolve any technical difficulties that may arise.
Reviewing of instrumentation drawings such as instrumentation location and cable tray layout,
installation hook ups, junction boxes, loop schemes & cable schedules.
Preparation/ review of all types of field instruments, material requisitions, cable schedule, instrument
data sheets, Hook up diagrams, loop diagrams, P & IDs, & As built drawings for instruments.
Participating in site progress meetings with Consultant and construction team.
Participating in procurement of instruments threw providing and reviewing the order codes as peer
project specification.
Participating in procurement of instrument related material according to hook up drawings or peer
site requirements as fittings, tubes, manifolds.
Inspecting the delivered materials.
Following the FDS for the alarms set points and function of the instrument.
Reviewing the PLC, MCC and VFD wiring diagram to insure the instrument signals (Feedback and
interlock) are correctly inserted.
Supervising the installation and commissioning of level switch include float, fork and conductive
type. Level transmitter include Ultrasonic, Radar and Hydrostatic (E+H, Vega, and BAMO).
Supervising the installation, commissioning and Calibrating of Pressure switch, pressure transmitter
and Differential. (E+H, Baumer, Ashcroft, ABB).
Supervising the installation, commissioning and Calibration of Flow meters include Ultrasonic and
Magnetic. (E+H, Khrone).
Supervising the installation and commissioning of Vibration switch and transmitter (Monitran).
Supervising the installation and commissioning of Temperature transmitter (E+H, Rosemount).
Supervising the installation, commissioning and Calibration of analytical instruments
Supervising the installation of different analytical instrument:
pH, ORP and Conductivity (E+H, HACH)
Free Chlorine (Siemens Wallace and Tiernan).
Automatic SDI (Mabat).
Online OIL (Turner Designs).
Turbidity (HACH).
Supervising the installation and Commissioning of different types of valve actuators (Electrical,
Pneumatic).
I/O testing of Instruments.
I/O testing and Commissioning of electrical valve actuator (Control type (Auma Profibus, Auma
Hardwire IO), on / off type (Auma)).
I/O testing and commissioning of On/Off valve limit switch.
Calibrating and service of instrument using HART communication handheld and PC software.
Troubleshooting the Siemens PCS7 v8.0 (PLC simatic S7 400 + SCADA WINCC) software and
hardware.
