TNPSC: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission: Exam stages,

Syllabus, Question pattern, Books to refer, Question types, Links to


refer.
I didnt find preparation guide for TNPSC in mrunal. So I share things I know.
Let others can also share regarding TNPSC exams.

Exam Stages:
It is a three stage examination similar to upsc. We have prelims,
mains and interview.
Prelims: objective type 200 questions 300 marks.
Mains: Descriptive type - 3 papers - each 300 marks
Interview: 120 marks

Question Pattern:
In TNPSC, they give more weightage for science followed by
polity, History, Economics, Geography, South Indian culture etc.,
It is easy to clear if you are able to remember the facts because as
far as my knowledge is concerned 50% questions are factual.
I just discuss first stage prelims here.
Prelims: its useful to know preference for subjects.
