Overview
Active Directory provides mission-critical authentication,
authorization and configuration capabilities to manage users,
computers, servers and applications throughout an organizations IT
infrastructure. Because Active Directory provides broad and deep
control of environments in which it is deployed, proper
configuration and use of an Active Directory installation is critical to
securing an organizations systems and applications.
Deliverables
The ADSA deliverable consists of a detailed report containing information about an
organizations trust relationships and configurations, accounts with forest-wide
functional scope, privileged account and group memberships and usage, password
storage and policy configurations, physical protection of domain controllers and
data, directory data protection settings, misuse or abuse of privilege, provisioning
and de-provisioning processes and numerous other configuration analyses. Risks
are identified and prioritized, and remediation approaches are provided, giving the
customer actionable guidance that can be used to harden and secure this missioncritical service. Supplemental files containing the full details of each risk are also
provided as reference material that can be used to target remediation efforts.

An ADSA provides prioritized, structured remediation advice, allowing an
organization to easily identify where to focus efforts.
