TIPS
o He asks you what you can say about a particular article or two so just recite whatever you
can remember like the codal provision, requisites and relevant jurisprudence.
o When you fail to include some topics, he will ask you questions leading to that missed
topics.
o When all else fails, have faith in San Beda Memory Aid.
o His favorite case is Rolito Go vs CA. He will discuss it again and again throughout the
course.

You only RECITE ONCE for the sem but if you get low on your recitation, he gives you
another chance before the sem ends. He makes it look like hes calling random people at
the end of the sem but in fact those are the people who got relatively low in recitation.
Just keep up with his lecture and make good your recitation by studying the CODAL and
ELEMENTS OF THE CRIMES.

Have a party on his birthday. He expects it. Sad thing about our class last year is that we just gave
him a gift. He allotted the second hour of our two hour class for the party. so it was awkward
when he closed his book and waited for the program and nothing came. He opened his book again
and continued the recitations.
Do not sleep in class!
His exams are VERY LONG so make sure to answer everything because HE IS VERY KIND
WITH PARTIAL POINTS so DO NOT LEAVE BLANK ANSWERS. Even if you dont know
the answer, just write down something sensible to get some points.

TIPS
o He does not require that you memorize the codal provisions, just get the gist of it.
o Read the cases thoroughly. Recitations take 15mins to 1 hour.
o While others are reciting, scan ahead on the next case. He seldom jumps to other cases.
o He can smell blood (he can tell when you are not sure about your facts) so stand and talk
confidently during recitations.
o TAKE DOWN THINGS THAT HE EMPHASIZES IN CLASS. IT WILL COME OUT
IN THE EXAMS!
