PLEASE read the schedule of services for times
of Church services during this Great and Holy
Week. Make an effort to attend every church
service so that we can spiritually celebrate
Pascha in a rewarding way.

PASCHA: RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD

AND SAVIOR: SUNDAY April 12th: This is the
day in which we greet each other with those
beautiful words: CHRIST IS RISEN!
CHRISTOS VOSKRESE! INDEED HE IS
RISEN! VOISTINU VOSKRESE! THIS IS
THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE.
LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD!
PASCHAL LUNCHEON: After the Divine
Liturgy on Pascha everyone is invited to the
Parish Home for lunch. Please make an effort to
be with us on this beautiful day. If you would
like to help defray the cost of this luncheon
please see Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk
to offer a donation for food costs.
EASTER FLOWERS: If you would like to
contribute towards the purchase of flowers
which will adorn our church on Pascha please
see Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk.
BLESSING OF EASTER BASKETS: The
traditional blessing of Easter Baskets will again
be held in the cemetery parking lot at 5 PM on

Holy Saturday. Please remind your family,

friends, or neighbors about this location change.
Other times for the blessing of baskets will be
held after Resurrection services and again in
the church after the Divine Liturgy on Pascha.
GRAVE VIGIL ON HOLY SATURDAY: Please
make an effort to stand guard at the tomb of
Our Lord on Great and Holy Saturday
beginning at noon. A schedule to sign up will be
placed on the candle desk with recommended
times. These are two hour shifts that need to be
covered so please sign up and make an effort to
be there!
ADULT EDUCATION / CHURCH SCHOOL
CLASSES: Adult Education classes will be held
only on Sunday April 26th during the month of
April. Protodeacon John Suchernick has
prepared some insightful lessons on the Divine
Liturgy. Please make an effort to attend class
beginning at 9:15 until hours at 9:45.
NEWSLETTER SPONSORS FOR 2015: We
are now soliciting sponsors for the upcoming

year 2015. Cost to sponsor this Newsletter per

month this year is only $50.00. Due to the rising
costs of materials to produce this newsletter we
had to raise the sponsorship. Please see
Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk to reserve
your month.
THOMAS SUNDAY WEEKEND:
Saturday April 18th and Sunday April 19th our
church is open from 8AM until 4 PM to sell
candles. If you can spare a couple of hours on
both of these days to sell candles please see
Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk to help
out. We need your help! Divine Liturgy on
Sunday April 19th begins at 8AM. Please note
Time Change only for this Sunday.
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FUND II: Due to severe
winter weather the retaining wall that is holding
up our church frontage is deteriorating. We will
need to replace this wall and it has to be done
sooner than expected. The Parish Council is
looking to fix this wall properly and secure this
wall for future years to come.

With it comes a substantial price that our

parish simply cant afford. We are looking at a
bill close to $35,000 which is substantially high.
The Parish Council will be sending out a letter
this coming June soliciting funds for this major
project. If there are members of this parish who
would like to contribute to this project now
please see Matushka Ludmila at the candle desk
to help out.

Council, Altar Servers, and Collectors would
