Benefits of these chargers:

advantageous price
tested in accordance with Quality Specifications for
Chargers for HOPPECKE Lead-Acid Traction Batteries
may be used within limits for various battery capacities
by means of defined cut-off factor du/dt (use in shifts up
to 8 h charging time also possible)
comply with ZVEI (German electrical standards) in
respect of safety cut-off and charging characteristic
more limited variations in charging current with mains
power fluctuations as compared with Wa chargers, since
the charging curve is steeper (see diagram below)
optimal secondary charging current for assignments up
to 12.5 A//100 Ah
cut-off factor is independent of battery age and
manufacturer
assignments to battery capacity are independent of

F15 FS functional description

the microprocessor-controlled charging system monitors
the charging process entirely automatically
charging time is automatically matched to battery depth
of discharge
disconnection is effected via the du/dt control
during longer standby periods, the battery is kept ready
for use by automatic refresh charges
in the event of failure, both battery and chargers are
protected by higher-level safety cut-outs
the charging electronics recognise slightly sulphated
batteries and charge them up fully
