Vice President Communications and Public Affairs
Created and managed system-wide, strategic, long and short term corporate communications, brand
management, media relations, public relations and CEO positioning to construct and maintain awareness
and support of strategic business initiatives, programs, and services. Collaborated with development
department in creation and promotion of $100M capital campaign to facilitate cutting edge care for
elders. Oversaw marketing campaign for 3 HUD 202s and assisted living senior residences providing
affordable housing for over 280 elders annually with a budget of $100M+. Directed outside agency and
vendor relationships and managed departmental budget; supervised staff. Planned and produced all
system special events.
Achievements:
Established and directed first government affairs and advocacy program by fostering and leveraging
relationships with city, state and national advocacy organizations, legislators, and policy influencers
increasing facility visibility that resulted in project funding. Presided over 100% growth of program
and addition of 4 staff.

implementation of new name and logo as well as managing brand consistency across signage,
