Consultant -SAP MM/WM-221974
Description
Job Summary:
The SAP Warehouse Management / Material Management Consultant will
provide leadership and direction in defining and maintaining the integrity
of the functional process designs, standards, and SAP WM / MM
configurations for Greenlee and its subsidiaries. Incumbent will work with
other SAP members, IT staff, and Greenlee Operations functional leaders
to analyze proposed changes to SAP technical configuration settings to
optimize overall performance.
Scope:
The role includes the definition, delivery, and production support of the
SAP configuration design to support the overall enterprise strategies and
objectives for the sales and distribution functions.

Responsibilities:
Implement technical project plans for SAP WM, MM, QM, PP and
Sales Distribution (logistics disciplines) Modules

Ensure common configuration across Greenlee business units for

SAP Warehouse Management / Material Managementand Sales
Distribution (Shipping/Transportation disciplines) module

Support production configuration and assist in functional change

requests (enhancements)

Support business implementations by sharing best practice

configuration skills

Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution,

developing designs, and process modeling

Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests

and prototype activities

Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request,

enhancements, and new functionality

Knowledge working with testing tools (e.g. Test Director,

WinRunnner)

Work with the Textron SAP Help Desk to facilitate problem

resolution

Assist with training activities

Work with SAP to resolve software bugs

Work with BASIS and ABAP personnel to define custom program

specifications and trouble shooting

Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality

and perform application research

Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement

assessments and make recommendations

Prepare business (functional) specifications for process design,

enhancements, etc.

Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other

departments to ensure successful implementation and support
project efforts

Ensure SAP service levels are met, and project objectives are
accomplished within budget and deadline
