STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

About everything that comes without efforts, is old age, rest everything needs a
planned effort.
This eternal word abstracted the principal that I believe in. This feeling has always
inspired me to be the best and successful in whatever job I do. It is my inherited trait to put
my heart and soul in work I do because The human body is the best picture of human
soul. This passion for excellence has inspired me to pursue my masters at your institute
because it has one of the best programs for business management education in USA.
During my college days, I attended a seminar about MBA (masters in business management)
that created a deep impact on my mind and it also created the desire in me to pursue such a
program in future.I found that I was more interested in management field & simultaneously
requiring practice of subject like Reasoning, Maths, and English etc to clear entrance exams to
get admission in MBA. Consulting with some senior persons in the field of management, I
finally decided to choose MBA as my career.
I completed my Bachelors of Computers Application from Sardar Patel University,
Vallabh Vidyanagar and successfully completed my graduation with First Class Distinction.
This is one of the best college and Recognized by UGC Act. In undergraduate study of
three years in BCA (Bachelor of Computers Applications), I got opportunity to learn in depth C
language, C++, Oracle 8.0, FoxPro, Data Structure in C, COBOL, Graphics, MIS, etc.
As a part of my final year curriculum of BCA, all candidates of BCA degree are required to
complete two months training. According to my interest in MIS, I have undergone through a
project work in Courier Management System to learn the Information System maintained
for managing the courier.
Then by passing MAT (Management Aptitude Test) entrance exam to get admission in MBA, I
got admission in PGDBM (Post graduation diploma in business management) which is
equivalent to full time 2 years of MBA program. I completed my PGDBM specialization
major FINANCE AND minor MARKETING at Tolani Institute of Management Studies,
Adipur- Kutch-Gujarat (India). This is one of the best management college &
Recognized by AICTE (All India council for Technical Education), Ministry of H. R. D.,
Govt. of India, New Delhi.
During my under graduation study, I always kept an eye on my goals & worked hard for
conceptual clarity & conciseness of the subject. In graduate study of 2 years in PGDBM, I got

All candidates of PGDBM degree are required to complete two months practical training at
recognized Companies. I got a chance to work at Kandla Port Trust, the major port of India.
It had outstanding infrastructure setup & a stimulating environment. My project title was

Studies on creating Satellite Port for upgrading facilities to maximize

import & export cargo handling. I learned here that how theoretical knowledge can be
applied into practice. This Herculean task calls for a background of immense variety of basic &
applied discipline with highly developed imagination skills that I can gain by Masters Studies.
My Masters in Business Management will give me a good start in professional career.
During my Graduation study I felt that there is wide scope in this profession because existence
of any firm or business is not possible without proper management, so I have wide opportunity
in this field and due to this reason I see myself more focused with masters in business
management programme. In 21st century the fast growing economy and lots of opportunity
convinced me that Masters Program in business management will provide me the best blend to
actualize my objectives and most importantly tranquilize my quest of knowledge to fulfill my
future goals.
Admission to a University of repute such as yours with distinguished faculty and alumni and
modern teaching style will expose me to the frontiers of latest technology. This will help me in
fulfilling my objective Seeking knowledge while studying in your esteemed institution
