I just finished reading this book and all I can say is, "Wow"!

Whether this story

is fiction or non-fiction, I found it to be profoundly inspirational and very sad
and frightening at times. It is about the bond and dedication between three
people: Mary (mother of Jesus Christ), Mary Magdalene (Christ's wife and the
disciple he loved the most), and of course Jesus Christ!

Supposedly, Magdalene was closer to Mary than Mary's own children. They were
kindred souls. Magdalene and Jesus knew each other as children. Mary, Christ's
mother knew alot about cures and natural early medicine and gave that information
to Magdalene and Jesus. Mary also had psychic abilities. She traveled along with
Magdalene and Jesus after his "supposed "crucifixion." Evidence is slowly coming
out that he did indeed survive and traveled in secrecy with his mother and his
wife and continued teaching the truth about an all-loving, perfect God without
wrath or vengeance. Mary's, psychic abilities helped them to know which direction
to take, who to avoid, and knew of things that were to happen in the future.

There were also early writings such as the Gospel of Thomas, the First Apocalypse
of James, the Dialogue of the Savior, the Sophia of Jesus Christ, the Gospel of
Philip, the Pistis Sophia, and the Gospel of Mary all portray Magdalene as a
prominent disciple of Jesus. Of course all of these writings were left out of the
Bible! None were canonized-probably because it was a patriarchal society. In the
Gospel of Mary of Magdala, "Early christian gospel traditions generally accord
Magdalene with a prominent position among the followers of Jesus." There is
ongoing research that is delving into her life more and more.

One of Christ's consistent messages that he tried to convey to the people was that
each person should take care of his or her individual spirituality rather than
cater to the government or state. On the other hand the mission of the church was
political and wanted control over the masses by instilling fear through hell and
damnation. Jesus also concentrated on teaching children since he knew they were
open vessels in which knowledge could be firmly implanted.

For those of you who are skeptics... Remember that history is written through the
eyes of the winners! Oh, in regards to the Holy Grail... "It was the Holy family
that carried it. Mary, carried Jesus in her womb, and Magdalene carried the
bloodline of Jesus."

Whoa! Deep stuff and alot to take in. But like, Dr. Wayne Dyer says, "Keep an open
mind that is open to everything and attached to nothing..." We hardly know
anything at all in comparison with what there is to know."
