Joy works at a restaurant. He is the manager. He starts work
every day at 7:00 am. He finishes work every day at 6:00
pm. He lives very far from the restaurant but, He walks to work
every day. His brother and sister also work at the Restaurant
and they dont live close to it either but, They drive cars to
work. They start work at 9:00 am. Joy wants to be the boss.
He helps all the waiters and tells them what to do.
He likes his job and many customers like him too
WH QUESTION.
This question is formed by placing the WH-word WHAT , plus the auxiliary words DO or DOES
(DO for first person and DOES for third person). Then, add the personal form, followed by the
base word and the action in this order.
Examples.
Question: WHAT+DO+YOU+LIKE+TO DO? Answer: I + LIKE + TO DRINK
WHAT+DOES+SHE+LIKE+TO DO?
SHE+ LIKES + TO DRINK

Write the appropriated question for the sentence making emphasis about the word in bold as
the example indicates.
He writes novels. What does he write?
NOTE: You must add the ending S or ES when using base words after a third person form according its
last syllable.

SIMPLE QUESTION.
Supreme the WH-word WHAT and then, change the action to obtain a precise answer.
Examples.
Question: DO+YOU+WANT+TO DANCE? Answer: YES, +I + WANT + TO DANCE
DOES + HE+WANT+TO DANCE?
YES, + HE + WANTS + TO DACE
Now, for the negative answer, you have to place the word NO, at the beginning of the
sentence and then use the auxiliary words Do or Does in a contraction after the personal form.
Examples.
NO, + I + DONT+WANT+TO DANCE.
and NO, +SHE + DOESNT+ WANT+TO DANCE.
