Someone from the audience asked the Dalai Lama why he didn't fight back against
the Chinese. He simply smiled and said, "Well, war is obsolete, you know. The
mind can rationalize fighting back, but the heart... the heart would never
understand. If you fight, then you yourself would be divided (the heart and the
mind), and then the war would be inside you."

O rei e o sbio

Preocupado
ordenou ao seu mordomo:
- Chama imediatamente o nosso melhor sbio.
- Limitei-me a dizer a verdade. respondeu o sbio.
- No possvel.
No devero haver

A PARBOLA DO FAZENDEIRO E DO TRIGO

E as coisas
As coisas apenas vo
fogo quente e a gua fresca.
No h
infelicidade. Mesmo a tristeza luminosa nesse caso, mesmo a tristeza bela. No

Deus
disse: "Qual o seu conselho?" O fazendeiro respondeu: Me d um ano, me deixe
fazer as coisas do meu jeito e voc ver o que vai acontecer. No haver mais

pobreza!"
haja alguma dificuldade. As tempestades, os troves, os raios, todos eles so
necessrios.
A noite to necessria quanto o dia. E os dias de
tristeza so to essenciais quanto os de alegria.
entrega. Voc dir: "Seja feita a vossa vontade." Voc dir: "Faa o que achar mais
correto. No me oua,
minha compreenso limitada. No me
oua!

culpa, ressentimento, inferioridade, mentiras, orgulho falso, superioridade e ego.
O outro Bom. alegria, fraternidade, paz, esperana, serenidade, humildade,
benevolncia, empatia, generosidade, verdade, compaixo e f.
O neto pensou nessa luta e perguntou ao av:
Qual lobo vence?
O velho ndio respondeu:
raiva, vingana .

no o fizeram intencionalmente Se pensarmos assim estaremos flexibilizando
positivas. Essa atitude nos proporcionar um crculo virtuoso. Pensar bem nos faz
sentir bem e agir bem.

Admit it. You aren't like them. You're not even close. You may occasionally dress
yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do,
maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try
to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the 'normal people' as they go
about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like 'Have
a nice day' and 'Weather's awful today, eh?', you yearn inside to say forbidden
things like 'Tell me something that makes you cry' or 'What do you think deja vu is
for?'. Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in
the elevator (and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking
the same thing? Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on
conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes

Maturity is not when we start speaking BIG things. It is when we start understanding

A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time
and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something
separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This
delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to
affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from
this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and
the whole of nature in its beauty. Albert Einstein

Those who are able to see beyond the shadows and lies of their culture will
never be understood, let alone believed, by the masses. Plato
In ancient Greece (469 - 399 BC), Socrates was widely lauded for his wisdom. One
day the great philosopher came upon an acquaintance who ran up to him excitedly
and said, "Socrates, do you know what I just heard about one of your students?"
"Wait a moment," Socrates replied. "Before you tell me I'd like you to pass a little
test. It's called the Test of Three."
"Test of Three?"
"That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my student let's

take a moment to test what you're going to say. The first test is Truth. Have you
made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"
No," the man said, "actually I just heard about It."
"All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try
the second test, the test of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my
student something good?"
"No, on the contrary..."
"So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him even
though you're not certain it's true?"
The man shrugged, a little embarrassed.
Socrates continued. "You may still pass though, b ecause there is a third test - the
filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about my student going to be useful
to me?"
"No, not really."
"Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither True nor Good nor
even Useful, why tell it to me at all?"
The man was defeated and ashamed. This is the reason Socrates was a great
philosopher and held in such high esteem.

Desculpe-me, mas voc teimoso! No entende que todas s vezes que tentar
tir-lo da gua ele ir pic-lo?

The more real you get the more unreal the world gets. -John Lennon
You are your word. And in your word, which is you, lies the power to create anything
you want in life. Anything.
Wherever you are having "problems" or "trouble" or "discomfort" in life, you can rest
assured that you're being inauthentic in some respect. This means you're
"pretending" something is true that isn't necessarily true, typically so that you "look
good" or avoid "looking bad" in some way. And as is typically the case when
problems arise, you're likely not honoring your word to others.
But looking good and avoiding looking bad will not get you anywhere in life. It might
seem to work for a while, but it's a house of cards that inevitably falls apart, and
more importantly, it can't and won't fulfill you. When you don't honor your word,
you aren't being the real you, and trying to be something other than what you are
can never fulfill you.
Honoring your word puts you in alignment with your true self, and along with that
comes access to your true power. If you do what you say you will do, and commit to
what you've said you commit to, and are authentic and honest with yourself and
those around you, you can create absolutely anything you can imagine.
But without authenticity, communication, and integrity, you will be like a leaf in the
wind, and you will lose the respect, trust, and support of others and yourself. If you
don't honor your word to yourself, then you won't respect yourself, plain and simple.
You won't expect yourself to follow through with anything, and as a result, never
will.
Do you have to always "keep" your word? No, that's impossible, Sometimes you
can't make good on promises or commitments. But you can always honor your
word. This means dealing with the repercussions of not keeping your word, and
contacting anyone involved ASAP to let them know you won't be keeping your word
as originally given, and making acceptable, alternative arrangements, i.e. making
amends and renewing your word on the matter.
You are your word, and if you live that way, you can do, achieve, obtain, or create
anything you can invent as a possibility.

powerful than one with all the facts. -Albert Einstein
