I guess what surprised me the most was the fact that you can make

I ran the SUPER-X logic through approximately 760 full race cards. This covered all major and many minor tracks from February 17, 2008
through April 22, 2008. So taking a conservative eight races per card, I think a test of over 6,000 races during a consecutive period of slightly more
than two months is a pretty thorough test.
Of these I got 1,113 plays. Dont fret if you dont think this is enough. I will state that this method does not come up with a play for every race.
And I will state that out of the 1,113 original plays, a portion of those will be dropped. However, on the good side, there will be quite a few races you
will automatically bypass and spend zero time on. Remember I said at the beginning that this is a handy new profit-gadget to add to your
handicapping toolbox. You undoubtedly have things you look for when you play the races, and if youve got your Daily Racing Form or other pps in
front of you, youll just get into the habit of adding the SUPER-X scribblings to it. I BELIEVE FOR THE EFFORT PUT IN, YOULL FIND THE RESULTS
INCREDIBLY WORTHWHILE.
So with over 1,100 races to play with, I was able to bang away at it in many ways. By class. By entries in the race. By gap between the second horse
and the rest of the field. By the lowest of the two morning lines. And all of this translates on when to bet exactas, trifectas, and winners.
What is terrific about these results is how they fall into place. There isnt a positive ROI here and there, with no apparent pattern. No, the positive
ROIs appear in neat little pockets that show distinct ways to bet them. And many of these have legitimate reasons upon looking at the results.

Of course, you want to avoid the Allowance category I have concluded that the generally short fields were responsible
for the loss in these races, but have at it in all the other categories!
(But Allowances did just peachy-keno with Exactas!)
OK, good news and bad news.

Bad news first: dont play Exactas in Stakes, Maidens or Maiden-Claimers -these categories were not profitable. Good news -- you can eliminate these
races immediately for Exactas and, better news, the following two categories
were smartly profitable -- and remember, were boxing just two horses!

WIN WAGERS
Now, given the profits realized above, you may just want to
stick with the Exactas, Qs and Trifectas, but there is money to
be made on the win end with SUPER-X as well.
Actually, were talking dutching here. This, of course, is putting
some to win on each of the two horses. In the original draft of this
writing, I went through a lengthy process to explain how to stagger
the bets proportionally, based on the odds of each horse. But my
research showed that the higher odds horse wins enough to
make a straight 50-50 bet on each horse.
The following are the rules I found for profitable win/
Dutch betting:
All of the elimination rules for Exacta betting apply
(you will find these in the actual method, of course).
One of the two horses MUST be the favorite. The final price
favorite is better, but if you are an early morning bettor,
you can probably get away with the morning line.
The lowest priced horse must have one of the following odds
ranges: 1-1 (less than even money), 9/5 thru 5 2
I know this sounds narrow, but I did get 156 plays in this situation
over the two-month test period. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT 96 OF
THE 156 WON, WHICH IS A 61% HIT RATE!
Now for the strange news. Here were the ROIs I found for both
the proportional and 50-50 Dutchings:

The reason that the 50-50 Dutch does better? Simply because
the 2nd favorite often wins. I will leave you to judge which one you

performed superbly on 6 and 7-furlong races. Not on 6-1/2
furlongs, or 5-1/2 furlongs, or at a mile, but just at 6 and 7
furlongs. Walt does all of his research the old-fashioned way,
i.e., by hand, but was so excited about the results he shipped
the whole kit-and-kaboodle to us to do a thorough test. And
guess what we found? Sure enough, the system kicked butt
at 6 and 7 furlongs but performed just so-so at the other
distances. And we do mean kicked butt. Our test comprised
just over 18,700 races and showed a 31.8% win rate at

6-furlongs with a positive ROI of +48%. And get this:
A full 52% ran 2nd for a +60% positive ROI. A modest profit
was even realized by betting to show (+7%). At 7-furlongs
the results were even better. 36% winners, many at great

personal test I found no bets at all at the three

Hi Folks:
Tom here. Im back rather quickly, unusual for
me, WITH NEWS ON A SENSATIONAL NEW
HANDICAPPING PRODUCT THAT RECENTLY
CROSSED MY DESK. As Ive told you before,
I get dozens of products in the mail monthly with the
authors normally asking me to either test out their
system or endorse them. Some of the stuff is pretty
good some not so and some of it is outright junk.
But every once in awhile something sneaks in
that is a real winner, and those are the only products
I will put my name to as an endorsement and
recommendation for purchase.
About a month ago I received a package from
handicapper Jeff Sillifant. When I opened it a nicely
printed booklet fell out with the following note:

Jeffs letter sounded sincere, and I could tell he
was excited, which often indicates a worthwhile product.
(Jeff, by the way, has turned out some other real goodies,

to me. The method itself is dirt-simple, based on odds

how carefully Jeff explains the rather simple strategy -you can tell that he really wants the reader to succeed!
So I put the method to a little test. I brought up the
last 3 months of win-key bets generated by my URTI
software program. I then took a look at the TLD results
from the same races. While the URTI had a higher win %
(34.6%) and somewhere close to 28% of the winners
were the same as the TLD, the URTI ROI (+29%) paled
in comparison to Jeffs method (+73%).

anyone elses in the business, because I know youre a no
BS kind of guy. I have recently worked out a selection
method that has produced some incredible results -- Ive

also see that the profits are much higher if you go with
races with just a lone qualifier the ROI on Del Mar,
Saratoga, Arlington and Calder was +122%, the biggest
number Ive ever realized with any of my systems. I dont

a very rigorous test. First, I had about 106,000 races to work with. But it was also another test of rigor that

categories in which an angle performed well much more often than it did not. Conversely, I found a decent
amount of negative categories also. I eliminated those that were not easy to spot in Past Performances, or those
that didnt show a distinct positive or negative trend. BUT TO MAKE IT SHORT, I CAME UP WITH SOME
