"Cause me to know the way where in I should walk. . . Teach me to do thy will, for
thou art my God. . .(and) I am thy servant, (from Psalm 143)
Dear Friend,

Greetings from the Bunch family in the name of King Jesus!

/in order to econimize, we have decided to go to a twice yearly publication of our

printed newsletter, with extensive photograpic coverage of the work and to use this
memiographed format for the other two quarters. We pray that you, our supporters,
will respond positively to this effort to keep you informed of the work and to cut

down on expenses.

We want to express our thanks to the South Lakeshore Eldership for dedicating them
selves to the task of giving Spiritual oversight to our mission. Because of lack of
funds designated to the support of Iran, our Brasilian Evangelist, they recommended
that he not be called to join the Cuiaba team at this time. However, we made a "faith
decision" to extend that call when we saw that the churches supporting our missionary

colleagues, Bruce and June Colson, had undertaken their half of the support. We had
received commitments of $100 a month and thus only lacked $1.50 of the $500 a month
needed. Iran showed a real conviction of the Lord's calling, he and his family, to
work with us and we all felt that same conviction. We decided to step out in faith
and dedicate our tithe and offerings, as necessary, to pick up the remaining salary

until others were challenged to take the responsibility. . The South Lakeshore Elders
have since expressed their 100% support of our decision and are giving themselves to
the task of seeking the portion of the monthly support, which is still lacking, from
the individuals and churches that have an interest in this mission.

Iran and family have been busy since their

arrival in Cuiaba.

We have three congregations

here and we are sharing the oversight of each

between us.
Iran has also preached several
outdoor meetings including a three day film
campaign downtown in the square of the river
front area of the city. (Thanks to those who

gave sacrificially that these great films could

be used as tools of Evangelism.) Many have
shown interest in the Gospel as a result of these
meetings and we look forward to a number of con

into the kingdom

Ten have been added to Christ's body in recent montlis.

Fellsberto, our converted alcoholic policeman, baptized

his two oldest boys, Lelo (13) and Joao (12), and both
have not missed a meeting since their decision in Feb. to
follow Jesus, Anaurelino, a policeman who was influenced
by Felizberto's testimony and changed life, was baptized

into Christ and then led his wife, Vacy, to the watery grave where she too was born
again. They both have been growing in Christ and Vacy is a faithful participant in
one of Sandy's woman's

groups

Last Wed. night we held an outdoor meeting in front of the home of Zozomo and Evald-

ina (couple baptized the end of last year).

Many neighbors came to hear Demas, Iran's

brother-in-law visiting from Anapolis, bring a stirring Evangelistic message.

Several

came forward for prayer and left their names and addresses to receive a visit and
spiritual orientation in their homes.

Our weekly men's meetings have been moved from the bairros to downtown at Iran's
apartment. Fewer are participating because they need to sacrifice in order to get a

bus downtown. However, the meetings have been much more valuable since they involve
only those willing to make that additional effort for Jesus. We were picking half the
men up and taking them across town to meet with others. That created dependence on us
and could have no future. The central meeting is accessible to all who are willing to
take the time. We have found that when a Christian lets Jesus rearrange his priorit
ies there just isn't anything, that God wills for his life, which he can not attain.
There are no excuses for not putting Christ and His Kingdom firstNONE!
