Normal port ingress/egress (transport channel) buffer capacity is 16 Kbytes.

An Extended Packet Buffer option enables 56 Kbytes when both transport

channels are used (C1 and C2), 56 Kbytes if just C2 is used, or 122 Kbytes if
just C1 is used:

Extended buffer disabled = 16k

Extended buffer enabled C1 only = 112k

Extended buffer enabled C2 only = 56k

Extended buffer enabled C1 + C2 = 56k each

The Extended Packet Buffer option is enabled by a tickbox in the DAC GE plugins screen.

Extended Packet Buffer operation will impact traffic latency; latency will be
increased.

RELEASE NOTES

White Paper

Important Software Upgrade Considerations

In this release there are several software upgrade and compatibility considerations that should be
noted and procedures followed to ensure a reliable upgrade with minimum traffic interruption as
follows:

Traffic interruption during SW upgrade: With this release a typical traffic interruption of up
to two minutes can be expected (see note below for DAC GE3 also). It is recommended
that the software updates be activated during a maintenance window when a traffic
outage can be managed.

DAC GE3: Extended software loading times with traffic interruption when upgrading from
5.05.xx or 5.08.xx to this release. Systems fitted with DAC GE3 that are being upgraded
from 5.05/5.08 will experience an extended traffic outage of typically up to 12 minutes
due to the significant enhancements being introduced in this release. Under some
circumstances this may be extended up to 20 minutes for complex configurations.

RAC 60/6X : The ETSI 28MHz and 56MHz ACM profiles from software releases 5.1.xx,
5.2.xx and 5.3.xx are not over-the-air compatible with this release. Traffic will be
impacted until both ends of the link are upgraded. When upgrading to this release from
5.1/5.2/5.3 ensure that the remote end of the link is upgraded first prior to the local end
(Ref ES-18336)

If the software is rolled back or downgraded from this release to 05.05.40 there may be
several non traffic affecting alarms displayed incorrectly due to feature incompatibilities.
These alarms can be cleared with a software reset.

If the software is rolled back or downgraded from this release to 5.08.15 AND Rapid
Failure detection is selected ON the Ethernet transport channel (TC) traffic is disrupted
until the RFD is toggled to NFD and back.

The NCCv1 is not supported in this release and will not be supported in any future
software updates. The latest release to support this early version of NCC card is
05.01.44.

Known Issues
The following table lists known issues that have not been fixed in this release:
Ref #

Issue Description

ES-11578

RAC 30A: Extended demodulator not locked events may affect AM operation On AM links, resumption
of normal modulator operation after a long demodulator outage can be delayed.

ES-12052

RAC: During a SW upgrade load or if a refresh is requested after a configuration change, there may be
a delay of up to several minutes before Portal acknowledges completion of the processes. During this
time Portal will indicate a busy/pending status (spin-wheel).

ES-12650

RAC 60/6X: RAC 60 operation with DAC 16x v2 manual (SW initiated) tributary switching times exceed
an average of 50ms (all <200ms). Tributary cable removal switch times average <50ms.

ES-12970

RAC 60/6X: In a space diversity system sometimes there is a traffic hit when the offline card is
removed.

ES-13267

No Power Supply Input Failure alarm on the IRU 600 high power RFU. Removing the power supply
brings up a TX Power Failure alarm, which may result in an incorrect diagnosis of the real problem. If a
TX Power Failure alarm is present, first check the RFU power supply voltage.

ES-13362

RAC 60/6X: Frequency Diversity manual Tx switching times exceed 200ms. When manual switching
from the online RAC during maintenance activities the Tx switching times may exceed 200ms and can
be extended up to 2 seconds. In normal operation Frequency Diversity switching is hitless for both Tx
and Rx paths with path fading activity or ODU failure/disconnection. To test FD is operating correctly
fade or disconnect the IDU-ODU cable.

ES-13808

RAC 60/6X: Traffic (DS1&Ethernet) hits observed on a RAC30v3 link using slot 3 after a RAC60 is
inserted in Slot1. Suggested workaround: in case both RAC30 and RAC60 cards are present in the
same radio, use slots other than slot 3 for the RAC30.

ES-13994 &
ES-14158

RAC 60/6X: 1+1 Protected - Occasional On-Line traffic hit after the Off-Line RAC is inserted

ES-14001

DAC 16xV2 in Ethernet NTU Mode: When setting up protection on a DAC 16xV2 configured for
Ethernet NTU mode on tribs 1-8 it may raise a remote-end LOS alarm on all tribs with a loss of all trib
traffic. This problem occurs intermittently only when setting up the DAC 16xV2 initially for protection. To
reset/clear the LOS alarms and restore traffic, remove and re-insert the On-Line DAC 16xV2.

ES-14160 /
GCAS 36587

RWPR: If Rapid Failure Detection + Protection is selected for transport channel mode RWPR protection
may fail when a link is slowly faded then un-faded due to the prescribed RSTP forwarding and blocking
action being unreliable. Select "Rapid Failure Detection" only with no protection. The only time
protection should be selected is if you expect some but not all E1s to go down in a transport channel
like when using 2 parallel links. In this configuration RWPR may still be an issue.

ES-14234

RAC 60/6X: When configured for 1+1 Adaptive Modulation, the Primary & Secondary TX Modulation &
Capacity values can be mismatched with different values displayed in the Portal Performance screen.
The On-Line TX displays the true TX modulation/capacity of the path. This is a display (Portal) issue. It
can be corrected by forcing TX Off-Line to On-Line.

ES-14260

Super PDH Ring: Traffic is hit for more than two errored seconds when restoring ring services after
multiple path failures. The issue occurs on ring network configurations where individual links are 1+1
Hot Standby or Space Diversity protected. In situations where two separate links on the ring are down
and one link recovers while the second one has not, restoration of traffic may take 2 - 3 seconds.
With two RF links down, ring integrity is broken. When one RF link recovers, restoration of ring integrity
and traffic is delayed by 2 - 3 seconds.

ES-14447

Portal: Invalid software error messages displayed after enable/disable encryption configuration if radio
terminal is managed over NMS channel only. Close and reopen Portal to clear this invalid error
message.

ES-14538

RAC 60/6X: OC3 profiles: Online RAC removal Rx switch times may be longer than 50ms (always
<200ms). Manual protection switching times (simulated card failure mode) always average <50ms.

ES-14547

RAC 60/6X: IRU 600 OC3, 30MHz/128QAM protection switching triggered by RFU alarm can have a
double hit outage (less than 10% of occurrences).

ES-14750

Error Log: file mismatch error messages in log when changing circuits. Occasionally when adding
circuits the following messages may be displayed in the log: "NV: Compact Flash Cache compare

14 AVIAT NETWORKS

error". These do not always show up and usually cleared on the next circuit change.
ES-14885

HTTPD: The new WebCIT screen has functional and display issues, "The "Status" fields do not change
to show the plug-ins' alarm severity

ES-14901

Traffic hits can occur when the secondary RAC 60 card is online for RX, or online for TX and Rx, and
you enable DPP. To avoid a traffic hit, have the primary RAC 60 online for TX and RX before enabling
DPP.

ES-15029

ODU 300 SP: Tx Fail alarm comes up and RAC front panel LEDs go red when placed in IF Loopback
with SP ODUs EQS-XX-XXXX-XXX identified by the serial number starting BLBxxxxxxxx . Alarm only
seen during IF Loopback.

ES-15324

DAC 16xV2 Trib Protection: If a diagnostic Tx/Rx manual lock has been set, a Tx/Rx manual lock
warning alarm is activated in the Portal alarms screen. If one of the DAC 16xV2 cards is physically
removed while the Tx/Rx lock is active, the Tx/Rx manual lock alarm cannot subsequently be cleared.
Prior to removing the card, ensure the diagnostic Tx/Rx manual lock is disabled. Otherwise, to clear the
alarm, either physically withdraw the remaining card, pause, then reinsert, or power cycle the INU.

ES-15526

Portal: Portal now allows illegal values & colors them red, but provides no alarms/warnings about the
illegal settings.

ES-16183

RAC 60/6X: ANSI ACM - User can enter ACM ATPC settings that will inhibit ACM from stepping up to
the maximum modulation. If the max TX power setting specified is higher than the max TX power
allowed at 256QAM, and the "Target Remote Fade Margin" is greater than 10db, then a significantly
greater RSL will be required before the modulation will step up. Although the SNR is high enough to
step-up, the system tries to maintain the requested target fade margin at the expense of stepping up the
modulation. The consequence is that the link to never reach 256QAM. Solution is to configure the ATPC
settings for maximum Tx power at 256QAM and not the lower modulations.

ES-16607

DAC GE3: ACM on TC5 & TC6. Adaptive modulation cannot be used on backplane transport channels
TC 5 or 6, unless a transport channel from 1-4 is also enabled.

ES-17236

DAC 155oM: Ring wrapping takes up to a minute to complete after disconnecting the fiber cable

ES-17454

IDU GE3 16x: Protection - TDM Tx switch exceeds 50ms on manual Tx and partner failed (average
90ms). Tx direction: Average: 90ms, Min 19ms, Max 153ms. Rx direction: Average: 94ms, Min 23ms,
Max 134ms.

ES-17547

IDU GE3 16x: The DAC 16xV2 is not transferring a trib clock to the DAC GE3 for SyncE purposes.

ES-17671

IDU GE3 16x: Protection - TDM switch times on LOS exceed 50ms (Tx average 54ms, Rx average
86ms).

ES-17725

On all RAC products that have DPP capability (RAC60/6X and IDU GE3), adding a circuit while in IF
loopback will not result in traffic on that circuit until IF loopback mode is exited.

ES-17773

IDU GE3 16x: On 55MHz/256QAM a small number of CRC errors are recorded when Ethernet traffic
steps from zero to maximum.

ES-17770

IDU GE3 16x: Protection - 7/14MHz Tx Ethernet and TDM switches exceed 50ms (average 120ms, up
to 350-400ms).

ES-17790

IDU GE3 16x: Protection - Tx and Rx, Ethernet and TDM switch on ODU cable removal exceed 50ms
(average 90ms, max 150ms)

ES-17933

RAC 60/6X: 1+1 ACM mode: If the Online RX is faded to DNL, (& the Offline Demod is locked), then
removing the Offline RX source (ODU cable or RAC removal) results in a traffic outage until the Online
RX unfades enough to lock up at its current RX modulation, or the connection to the Offline radio is
restored

ES-17974

IDU GE 20x: DS1 highest throughput profile 80MHz,256QAM,357Mhz, unable to lock up (or take more
than 10 minutes to lock up) Do not use this profile with 6.0 release. Use LA release 05.08.10

ES-18089

RAC 60/6X: Frequency Diversity: Performing Tx Online switch on 7MHz ETSI could take more than
2sec outage due to a long Demod Not Locked time. This issue was observed in a Frequency Diversity
protected link (7MHz ETSI profile) while performing manual Tx Online switches. This causes long traffic
outages during a Tx Online switch.

ES-18102

RAC 60/6X: Protection, Offline RAC removal is not errorless with several capacities. TDM traffic is hit
when removing the off-line RAC with the following ETSI profiles : 7MHz,13.75MHz and 27.5MHz

ES-18116

IRU600 / RAC 60/6X / 10MHz QPSK, 14Mbps Profile: Plugging in an off-line RAC can cause a 30

second Rx outage of TDM data 10-20% of the time.

ES-18126

Warning Banners: banner objects are not restored via the Portal/PTI backup/restore mechanism

ES-18336

RAC 60/6X: ETSI ACM profiles at 28MHz and 56MHz are not backwards compatible between
05.01.xx/05.2.xx/05.3.xx and 06.00.xx (GCAS 52382)

ES-18343

RAC 60/6X: Protection Switch from RAC60-Primary to RAC6X-Secondary Raises "Silent Tx" and
"Remote Comm" Failure Alarms for 5 minutes
DAC GE3: 1+1 Protected - Missing all of the manual lock alarms & diagnostic indicators

ES-18459

When configured with 2 DAC GE3s in a 1+1 Protected setup, the user has the ability to lock either the
Primary or Secondary GE3 Online via Portal's "Diagnostics->System/Controls" screen. When the user
has either the Primary or Secondary GE3 locked Online there are indications alerting the user of this
locked condition. The terminal remains in an "all GREEN" no alarm state.

ES-18551

RAC 6X: 55MHz XPIC+ACM 256QAM Max System Gain profile (344Mbps) may experience errors
when ACM switching from 64QAM back up to 256QAM. Select the alternate 256QAM Maximum
Throughput profile (366Mbps) to overcome this issue if it causes significant traffic impact.

ES-18555

DAC GE3/RAC 4X/INU: Ethernet traffic passes in only 1 direction when using a RAC4X in an INU
chassis. DAC GE3 & RAC 4X operate normally when using an INUe chassis.

Closed Field Issues

The following table lists field issues that have been resolved since the 05.01.44 release.
Ref #

Issue Description

Eng Ref

Portal: Ring circuit configurations are deleted during an upgrade from non-protected to
protected operation. Circuit configurations can be lost when Super PDH ring network
paths are upgraded from non-protected to protected. This requires reconfiguration of all
circuits to restore traffic.

ES-12063

Closed Significant Issues

The following table lists significant issues that were discovered during development/testing since
the version 05.01.44 general release. These issues have been fixed by this release.
Ref #

ES-13156

Issue Description
Max DS1 backplane capacity can be reduced based on AUX circuit connections. When the
backplane bus is set to the DS1 rate (1.544Mbps), the max NxDS1 backplane capacity of 128xDS1
can be reduced to 123xDS1, depending on the number of AUX circuits configured and the order in
which they are configured. This has been resolved in 6.0

ES-13992

Payload Encryption: Errored Seconds reported during long counts with automatic key change
enabled. Automatic key change may cause a traffic hit. 8 errored seconds have been reported over
a 72 hour count with automatic key change after every hour.

ES-14238

DAC GE: Pause frames may not be generated on the physical ports when the DPP port is
overloaded and there are 2 physical ports in use. The issue occurs when a DAC GE is DPP
connected to a RAC60 and has two customer facing ports enabled with Flow Control On.

ES-14430

RAC 60/6X: Traffic hit upon re-insertion of the primary RAC after a power cycle with the primary
RAC removed. Impacts Ethernet traffic minimally; typically one or two dropped frames (applies to
DPP and backplane Ethernet traffic). PDH traffic can be disrupted for up to one second. This has
been resolved in 6.0

ES-14545/14559

RAC 60/6X: Extended outage times may occur on a DPP 1+1 HS/SD ACM link when the online RAC
is removed. Traffic may be disrupted for about 2 seconds if the online RAC 60/6X is withdrawn on a
DPP 1+1 link (hot-standby / space diversity) when configured for adaptive modulation. This has
been resolved in 6.0

ES-14575

RAC 60/6X: Extended Rx outages may occur on IRU600 1+1 protected links (DS1 rates) when an
off-line RAC 60 is re-inserted. While instances are infrequent, outages up to 59 seconds have been
recorded. Ensure new RAC 60s are fitted during a maintenance window. This has been resolved in
6.0

ES-14617

IDU GE 20x: Some types of SFP do not work with LSP when Speed - Duplex is set to Fixed 1Gbps.
A far-end port shutdown may not occur with some SFP modules when set for Fixed Speed-Duplex,
with LSP and RFD. The solution is to set Auto for Speed-Duplex. This has been resolved in 6.0

ES-14623

RAC 60/6X: High-Priority backplane Ethernet traffic can be corrupted (frame drops) during a step-up
from QPSK to 16QAM on 7MHz adaptive modulation profiles. Applies only to: a) Backplaneconnected Ethernet traffic where the traffic assigned to the backplane exceeds the capacity that can
be supported at QPSK. DPP Ethernet, PDH, and AUX traffic is not affected. b) 7 GHz adaptive
modulation profiles. The interim solution is to use the DPP for Ethernet traffic - avoid use of
backplane-connected Ethernet for this 7MHz profile when using adaptive modulation. This has been
resolved in 6.0

ES-14632

RAC 60/6X: The BBER Performance counter does not freeze when the Stop button is clicked. Only
the BBER Performance counter is affected. All other G.826 counters operate correctly i.e. they
freeze when the Stop button is clicked. This has been resolved in 6.0

ES-14647

RAC 60/6X: 1+1 Adaptive Modulation Links with Ethernet traffic on the backplane only (not DPP)
may experience degraded Ethernet throughputs. When the DPP is not enabled on 1+1 ACM links
operating Ethernet over the backplane it is possible for Ethernet traffic in one direction to be
degraded due to the Tx and Rx functions on separate RACs (Primary and Secondary) being in
different ACM modulation states with different capacities. This situation may occur from power-on, or
from a fade/unfade, where the Offline Tx is not stepped up in modulation to match the Online Tx.
When DPP is enabled this issue is not present. Interim solutions are: a) Enable the DPP for Ethernet
traffic. b) Use the DPP for Ethernet and the backplane for Ethernet and/or PDH. This has been

resolved in 6.0
ES-14735

When switching to one of the two modem profiles:

- 56Mhz 256 QAM Hi Gain 168E1 343Mbps

- 56Mhz 256 QAM 184E1 366Mbps

With payload encryption enabled, a key suspended alarm may occur and traffic will be interrupted.

ES-14799

Auto capacity allocation does not work correctly when capacity usage exceeds the licensed amount.
Instead of auto-allocating based on the licensed amount, traffic is dropped 5 minutes after exceeding
the amount.

ES-14821

Portal allows "Alarm Actions" configuration when security mode is set to Strong.

ES-14822

Running a RAC 60 at 28MHz 64QAM Normal Profile can create unexpected air link errors and traffic
hits when used with 15GHz ODU.

ES-14887

If two Portal applications are managing the same radio, and two users with admin access rights are
adding new users, then the last added user account will overwrite the user account previously
added.

ES-14911

Portal allows a user to set frequency diversity protection when payload encryption is enabled.

ES-14983

Portal incorrectly shows an entry for Adaptive Modulation under "Transport Channel Mode" for a
DAC GE card.

ES-15090

With payload encryption on and using one of the following profiles:

- 56Mhz 256 QAM Hi Gain 168E1 343Mbps

- 56Mhz 256 QAM 184E1 366Mbps

In approximately 15% of cases Traffic does not recover when the Rx signal faded below threshold
levels and then normalized.

ES-15166

IDU GE 20x: When changing from 40MHz/32QAM 100 DS1 to 40 MHz/128QAM 127 DS1 it is
possible neither end of the link may lock.

ES-15722

DAC 155eM: Shows incorrect transceiver type. Shows optical type , not electrical. This has been
resolved in 6.0

ES-16191

DAC GE3: Ethernet Traffic is not delivered when a DAC GE3 circuit is mapped to a DAC E3DS3M
(Ethernet NTU Mode).

ES-16571

RAC 60/6X: Trib traffic hit of 20 to 40 seconds during a soft reset. With a RAC 60 or 6X is installed,
a soft reset of the terminal causes a traffic hit of 20-40 seconds duration.

ES-16640
ES-16297

DAC GE3: Errors observed when using ACM over the backplane transport channel.
When configured for ACM operation over a backplane circuit, frame errors (approximately 1 per
minute) are periodically seen.
It is recommended that if ACM is in use to transport all Ethernet traffic across the DPP.

ES-16304

DAC GE3: Frames are dropped when a single transport channel is configured to operate over
multiple radio paths, using 'RFD + Protection' mode.
Ethernet traffic does not run error-free if one of the RF paths has a uni-directional failure, i.e. one
end is still transmitting.
If the RF path is completely removed then error-free traffic is restored.

ES-16390

RAC 60/6X: When the secondary RAC is re-inserted, a traffic hit of approximately 12 seconds can
occur.

ES-16534

DAC GE3: Removing an SFP or cable does not make the DPLL lose lock - Synchronous Ethernet
does not operate reliably on the SFP ports.
Removing the SFP transceiver or cable does not comply with G.8262 as the DPLL switches to
another local clock source rather than going into holdover.
Recommend to ports 1-3 for Synchronous Ethernet.

ES-16635

DAC GE3: Traffic does not pass between a DAC GE and DAC GE3 over the backplane, if AM is
enabled.
If the terminal uses the backplane transport channel to configure Ethernet traffic from a DAC GE3 to
a DAC GE2 using the Adaptive Modulation mode the system will report a persistent TC channel link

down alarm and traffic will not be established.

ES-16641

DAC GE3: The software reset feature (via Portal's "Advanced Management" screen) for the DAC
GE3 fails. Portal shows a "Reset failed" message.

ES-16645

DAC GE3: In a 1+1 hot standby protected link, ACM will stop functioning after a protection switch
has occurred, on the backplane connected traffic.
When the link is set to ACM 1+1 hot standby, the transport channel shaping will initially operate
correctly, but after 1-10 protection switches ACM shaping will cease to function. This causes a "TC
Channel link down" alarm and impacts traffic across the transport channel.
It is recommended that if ACM is in use to transport all Ethernet traffic across the DPP in 1+1
protected systems.

ES-16652

DAC GE3: Errors when running jumbo frame traffic over multiple front ports. Occasional CRC errors
have been observed when bursting a full load of jumbo frames into all the front panel ports P1, P2
and P3 simultaneously. No errors are seen with a full load of jumbo Frame traffic on a single port.

ES-16661

DAC GE3: Data does not pass reliably through the DAC 155oM when operating in the NTU mode
with Ethernet traffic sourced/sunk from a DAC GE3. CRC errors are frequently observed on the
transport channel.

ES-16664

DAC GE3: DPP traffic can show high-priority frame drops during AM step-downs (less than 1% of
the time). When stepping down modulation in an AM link, there is a 1% chance of a single high
priority frame drop during the transition. No errors have been observed during AM step-up in
modulation.

ES-16671

DAC GE3: CRC Errors observed if TC is configured to 197Mbps (128xDS1) between two DAC
GE3's over the backplane. Portal allows 128 TC connections to a DAC GE3 TC; it should only allow
127 circuits to the DAC GE3.

ES-16711

RAC 60/6X: Changing profiles occasionally results in a Remote Communications Failure alarm. This
alarm can be cleared by toggling the digital loopback on and off.

ES-16877

IDU GE 20x: The electrical SFP interface is down after a power cycle even though the port is
enabled. The workaround is to send an Ethernet configuration to the radio.

ES-17005

License: On the RAC 60, when set to highest capacity 100xE1/127xDS1, a Slot N License Violation
alarm is raised after loading the RAC mode license file.
When transitioning from nodal license to non-nodal license, the Configuration Not Supported and
Slot N License Violation alarms are raised. The workaround is to reload the nodal mode license file.

ES-17214

NCCv2: The Revertive Switching Wait Duration parameter will not hold its setting after being set
twice.

ES-17220

Portal: After Portal software load / activation, Portal software can appear frozen although the
software has been activated. The workaround is to restart Portal.

ES-17255

RAC 60/6X: A 1xSTM1+1xE1 RX protected link will result in a brief sync-loss / error burst when the
offline Rx is faded to demod not locked.

ES-17643

IDU GE3 16x: 1% frame drop observed on jumbo frames over 9985 bytes, but no dropped frames
were recorded in RMON stats.

ES-17763

IDU GE3 16x: AIS is not inserted on tribs dropped under adaptive modulation.

ES-17789

IDU GE3 16x/RAC 60: When operation with the ODU 300SP+ only the 7MHz QPSK and 16QAM
profile selections are available. The 14 & 28MHz profiles are not selectable. This issue is now
resolved and the IDU GE3 and ODU 300SP+ can now support operation at 7 & 14MHz with the
QPSK & 16QAM profiles and at 28MHz with the QPSK, 16QAM and 32 QAM profiles.

ES-18538

DAC GE3: After upgrading the software from 5.05.42 to any release prior to 6.00.50 the DAC GE3
can take up to 20minutes to boot and be displayed correctly in portal. This issue is solved in the
6.00.50 release.

Important Notes
1. Traffic may be affected when upgrading software between two specific versions of
software. Modules that have updated FPGA software will suffer a momentary loss
of traffic. The use of Provision feature Scheduled Activation to preload software,
and schedule upgrades at low traffic times of the day will help minimize
disruption. Contact an Aviat Networks Technical Help Desk for details, contact
details are on page 2 of these release notes.
2. When upgrading software ensure the remote end of a link is upgraded before the local
end.
3. Care should be taken not to run OSPF and Static routing within the same internal OSPF
routing domain.
4. If Portal loses communication with an IDU 300 SP radio when changing the IP address,
restart Portal to restore communication.
5. Disable any PC firewalls before performing a software download.
6. Eclipse Portal Software version 5.0 includes an upgrade to Java version 6.0. This later
version of Java provides improved memory management and operational performance. It
provides a fix for occasional low memory issues that have been reported on heavily
loaded systems. It is recommended that users install Eclipse Portal 5.0 or later from the
Eclipse SW Setup CD or from the Aviat Networks Customer Online Support site at
www.support.aviatnetworks.com.
The note below, seen on Portal screens, relates to this issue.

7. Note that this software includes open source items and as such users have a right to
access source code. Contact tony.wood@aviatnet.com for details.

Aviat Networks encourages its customers to report problems so we can resolve them as
quickly as possible. If you encounter a technical issue, please contact us using the
information on page 2 of these Release Notes.
