The Rainforest
Our recreation of a rainforest with its
amazing collection of plants and
animals will help you experience and
appreciate the sights, sounds and
smells of a living tropical rainforest.
Some of our most popular attractions
are our collection of spiders and
poisonous frogs. We have also
recently acquired an African Dwarf
Crocodile.
We are committed to researching
rainforest-related topics and hope you
will find our leaflets and posters
interesting. There are also a number of
reference books available in our gift
shop.
We welcome school parties during
term time.
Nature World
Enjoy nature at this family centre where visitors can take part in activities or spend the
day relaxing with a picnic beside the lake.
Visitors can enjoy a lakeside walk, or hire a rowing boat. They can wander through the
forest on foot and discover the wildlife for themselves, or ride on our miniature railway
right around the lake and through the forest. Children can touch and talk to the goats
and sheep on our mini-farm and then explore our great adventure playground, before
stopping for a delicious snack or a meal at our brand new Lakeside caf.
