Working with Wycliffe Bible
Translators. Teacher,
advisor- CanIL program at
Trinity Western University
preparing young people to do
Bible translation

Has it really been one year since Mike passed the baton at CanIL? A full
one researching, writing and presenting papers in Canada, USA & Asia;
recruiting students along the way; connecting with Gadang
communities through a building project designed to help pastors in
their leadership roles.
Now we look ahead: 1) more research for a presentation at a Bible
translation conference in Texas; 2) completion of the building project
in the Philippines; 3) organizing and updating the Gadang dictionary
for publication; 4) teaching a course in the Fall at CanIL.

Happening at Westbourne Church

Dear Friends of Camp,
We would like to invite you to a dinner and silent auction to
help our Whispering Pines Camp get off to a great start this
year. Mark on your calendars, Saturday May 2nd at 5:30 pm.

Bring a Friend to Friend Sunday May 3rd, 2015

When life gets too busywith work, children's activities, even
churchit's easy to let relationships take a back seat. But
friends are an important part of our lives, and having a
supporting group of friends can make life's challenges easier.
Even Jesus had 12 friends He did life together with! How
about you? Do you have great friends or just great
acquaintances? Build deeper relationships on May 3rd Friend
Sunday! This special service is dedicated to welcoming
friends to our church, celebrating friendships, and discovering
what it means to be a true friend. Friendships can help carry us
through lifes trials, celebrate lifes joys, and make lifes
journey more meaningful. So invite someone to come with
youit's the friendly thing to do!
