STARTER CLUTCH ISSUES

failed on a couple of units. At around 8,200 hours and
700 starts it was recommended that we replace ours
before it fails and possibly destroy the gearbox. We
replaced

without any blemishes. So before I go and replace the
clutch on a routine basis I'm inquiring as to what the
other users are doing.

Has anyone replaced a clutch and seen damage to the
clutch that would in their opinion if left alone cause a
failure.

Users,
From an inspection from the exhaust diffusor we found
from 4 neighboring blades (S6B) interlocking tip shrouds
disengagement The FSR just pushed them back and once
disengagement.
in the shop no dimensional deviations could be
determined. However, not so confident and would like to
know if anybody else has same or comparable experience
and root cause. Thanks.
