Growing, we do it every day
We are growing when we are sleeping
And even when we play
Cause Im growing and so are you
Each day we grow a little taller
A little bigger not smaller
And we grow a little friendlier too
Cause Im growing and so are you.

Growing to the students.

Then, the teacher will play a recording of the song while the students listen to it.
After that, the students will be asked about the details of the song such as if they can

recognize any words, if they had listened to it before or what is the song about.
After that, the students will be given flashcards with the lyrics of the song on it and will be
requested to put the lines or verses in order. The students must work as a group and

discuss to put the lines in order.

Then, the teacher will go through the lyrics of the song line by line to make sure that the
students understand the words or at least they understand the key words necessary for

singing the song meaningfully and with enjoyment.

The students will read aloud the lyrics line by line.

The teacher will then teach the actions of the song to the students.
The student will do the actions with the help of the teacher.
The teacher can ask one or two volunteers to do the actions in front of the class.
Then, the actions will be added on to the song. The students learn to sing and do the song.
The teacher will sing the song to the students one line at a time and have the students sing

it back.
Practise each line several times until the student can sing it independently.
After that, the singing activity can be carried out.
A small competition can even be carried out among the small groups or the teacher can get
the girls to sing one part and the boys another.

c After singing
Since the students already know the song, they will be asked to identify the opposite which

exist in the song.

The teacher can also ask the student to substitute the opposite with other adjectives which
make sense such as changing the noun bigger to taller and the noun smaller to
shorter. In this way, the song can work its way as long the adjective substituted are

appropriate opposite.
The activity will be carried out in groups so the students can brainstorm and discuss

together.
Next, the teacher announces that the class is over and they will have another exciting
activity tomorrow and they do not have homework.

Closure:
The teacher will ask the pupils about the learning outcome of the method used in teaching
English language. The pupils performances during the lesson will be used as feedbacks and
improvement will be made as time goes by.
