Method:
Total Physical Response + Communicative Language Learning
Objective:
- To encourage the pupils to be more confident with the language;
- To provide an environment for fun and meaningful language learning;
- To ensure that the pupils will have a positive attitude towards learning;
- To enable pupils to experience the sensation of controlled relaxation;
- To stimulate and relax the pupils minds.

After that, the students will be given flashcards with the lyrics of the song on it and will be
requested to put the lines or verses in order. The students must work as a group and

The teacher will then teach the actions of the song to the students.
The student will do the actions with the help of the teacher.
The teacher can ask one or two volunteers to do the actions in front of the class.
Then, the actions will be added on to the song. The students learn to sing and do the song.
The teacher will sing the song to the students one line at a time and have the students sing

it back.
Practise each line several times until the student can sing it independently.
After that, the singing activity can be carried out.
A small competition can even be carried out among the small groups or the teacher can get
the girls to sing one part and the boys another.
c After singing
Since the students already know the song, they will be asked to identify the opposite which
appropriate opposite.
The activity will be carried out in groups so the students can brainstorm and discuss
together.
Next, the teacher announces that the class is over and they will have another exciting
activity tomorrow and they do not have homework.
Closure:
The teacher will ask the pupils about the learning outcome of the method used in teaching
English language. The pupils performances during the lesson will be used as feedbacks and
improvement will be made as time goes by.
