Single Skin Panels

Roof Panel (Type "S")
This newly developed type "S" panel is a superior structural
panel, whose profile is designed to withstand heavy loads,
such as roof snow loads and uplift loads resulting from high
velocity (cyclonic) winds. It is the standard Zamil Steel roof
panel and is also used as wall panels and as the outer
skin of the high-rib Tempcon panel (TCSP).

EXTERIOR COLOR

The type "S" steel panel conforms to ASTM A 792M Grade

345B and is coated with a protective layer of Zincalume which
is a 45 % zinc and 55 % aluminum alloy coating (150 g/m2 on
both sides). Type "S" steel panels are available in two nominal
thicknesses: 0.5 mm and 0.7 mm, and in all standard colors.

TYPE ''S'' PROFILE

The type "S" aluminum panel conforms to ASTM B 209M Alloy

3003 H26 (or Alloy AA3003 H26) and is available in 0.7mm
thickness only, and in plain finish or Frost White color.
Other Zamil Steel standard colors are available subject to a
minimum order of 3,000 m2. Consult a Zamil Steel
representative for delivery periods.

The type "R" steel panel conforms to ASTM A 792M Grade

345B: Coating AZ150 or aluminum conforming to ASTM B 209
Alloy 3003 H26 (or Alloy AA3003 H26).

TYPE ''R'' PROFILE

The steel panel is available in 0.5 mm nominal thickness only

and in all standard colors.

The aluminum panel is available in 0.7 mm thickness

and in plain finish or Frost White (FW) color only. 0.5 mm
thickness is also available, but its use is restricted to interior
liners.

Mezzanine Deck Panel (Type "G")

This deep-ribbed type "G" panel is the standard Zamil Steel

deck panel for mezzanines and floor systems. Although
exceptionally strong, this panel is used as shuttering for
mezzanine reinforced concrete floors and panel is not a
substitute for the reinforcement of mezzanine concrete slabs.

FASP (Field Assembled Sandwich) Panels

These panels are composed of two single skin panels (type "S" on the roof and type "R" on the walls), 1.5 mm thick ''Z'' sub-purlins
at the roof (sub-girts at the walls) and unfaced fiberglass insulation in between the panels. The depth of the ''Z'' sub-purlins/
sub-girts varies depending on the insulation thickness. Available insulation thicknesses are 50 mm, 75 mm and 100 mm.
The standard unfaced fiberglass insulation has a density of 12 kg/m3 or 16 kg/m3. Higher densities are available upon request.

Paint Systems
XRW (exterior roof and wall) is a 25 micron modified polyester paint system applied on Zincalume coated steel or on plain aluminum.
XRW is the standard offering of Zamil Steel for exterior panels. XRW paint is available in all ZS standard colors.
XPD (exterior premium durability) is the well-known PVF2 or PVDF (equivalent to Kynar 500*) paint system applied on Zincalume
substrate over steel. This 25 micron thick paint system provides more protection to the panel in terms of longer life, long-term color
and gloss finish durability. XPD paint is available in Frost White color only.
Kynar 500 is a Trademark of Atofina Chemicals, Inc.
