Rexs message

Kick off the

second half of 2014
Congratulations, Germany! And congratulations to everyone who participated in the
World Cup. Whether you were a player, an armchair critic, a die-hard passionate fan,
or you hated every minute of it, theres no doubt that the World Cup
is a global spectacle.

To watch the world come together to

compete without causing lasting injury
or harm is a wonderful thing it is just
awesome! In fact, its a lot like a Forever
Global Rally, except we get to do it
every year!
Football is a phenomenon, and its
global sporting dominance is
unprecedented. So, what can
we learn from its success?

There are six attributes of football

that I believe are the key to its
success from which we can draw
parallels to our Forever business:
See diagram below.
So, as the lights go out on World Cup
celebrations for another four years and
millions head back to their lives, take
a moment to check out the calendar.
You will notice that we are about halfway
through 2014.

The second half of your year is about

to kick off. Are you ready? Take a look
at your scoreboard and see where your
weaknesses and strengths lie. Lets make
sure that when the whistle blows at the
end of December, youll have achieved
your goal!

ITS SIMPLE

ITS SIMPLE
It is a simple game
with few rules.

A TEAM SPORT

A TEAM SPORT

NO BARRIERS

Football is a team sport.

You either win or lose
as a team.

There are no barriers to entry.

Anyone with a round object and
two goal posts can play.

Forever, when it is done well,

is simple. We talk to people,
recommending our products and
Marketing Plan. We dont need
to embellish or make claims.
Just tell our story and invite
people to give it a try.

NO BARRIERS

You all know that Forever

is a team sport. You cannot
achieve true success working
alone. You may achieve a little
here and there, but you will soar
when you can inspire and teach
others to see the vision
of Forever.

Its easy to start a Forever

business. The financial investment
is very little. All we need is a willingness
to work hard, a little bit of product
and a list of names, and you
are on your way!

IT TAKES PRACTICE

IT TAKES PRACTICE

NO TIME-OUTS

The more you practice,

the more you win.

There are no time-outs in football.

Just 90 minutes straight
of putting your best foot
forward on the field.

A GAME OF TWO HALVES

No matter how the game
went in the first 45 minutes,
you never give up.

Forever | August 2014

Becoming an expert in our

business takes practice. To be
very good at it, you have to work
hard. Talking to people and remaining
optimistic and excited is work. Attending
meetings and trainings is work. Giving the
same presentations over and over is work.
But to be a champion, you must be
willing to work hard. Luck does not
bring lasting success in Forever.
It never has and never will.

NO TIME-OUTS

A GAME OF
TWO HALVES

If you are smart, youll

never quit. You can slow down
to a jog from time to time,
but you must remain in the game.
Consistency is a vital component
in success. Nothing slows
growth like inconsistency.

There is always tomorrow.

If today didnt go well, you will have
a chance to give it another go and improve
on it tomorrow. But, just like in football,
there are deadlines and eventually
the whistle will blow, your CCs
will be counted and you will
either have qualified or not.
The choice is yours.

Recognition

Spread the word

I hope that you are enjoying this glorious summer. A great time to enjoy
the company of our friends and families, and a chance to appreciate
the beauty of where we live. I really love this time of year, I always feel that
everyone you meet is happier when the sun is shining, and it seems to give
people a different view of life. Its also a great time to be developing relationships
with potential new team members, as you socialise in the sunshine.
In my opinion, there are millions of people
out there who would love to have a more
flexible way of working, to still be able to
provide for their families financially, and at
the same time be able to spend more time
with them.

The couple showed great courage in

moving from their previous career in the
police, and were able to transform their
lifestyle in a very short period of time. I
would guess that lots of other people
would be moved by this true story.

I am proud of each and every

one of you who has had the
courage and commitment
to help people grow. We are
making an amazing difference,
thanks to you.

It might be that you already have an

established Forever business that enables
you to do just that. If this is the case, share
your own story with everyone you come
into contact with, give them an insight into
the Forever world. I recently met with a new
Distributor and she told me that the thing
that had influenced her to look at Forever
was spending two days at her friends
house, during which she observed her
spending lots of time with her kids, whilst
also being able to talk with her team and
grow her business. There is a saying:
Facts tell, and stories sell. In our world,
this can mean demonstrating the lifestyle
that we are enjoying as a result of our
Forever business, or if that is not yet
possible, then sharing stories of other
people's journeys.

So, be sure to develop the art of becoming

a master storyteller, by listening to all the
amazing success stories around you.
These will have much more impact on
the people that you share them with than
the facts and figures of our business.

Enjoy the sunshine.

Nothing to lose
Assistant Manager //

Sponsor //
Zoe Stuart

I joined Forever in January 2014 after meeting a Forever Distributor, Zoe Stuart, at my
local gym. We took classes together and I became very intrigued as to what she did for
a living. I learnt that she owned her own business and worked from home. When she
then showed me the Forever opportunity, I realised I had nothing to lose by joining.
Its true I was sceptical at first, and wasnt
sure how it would be possible to build a
full-time income in part-time hours. But
then I saw what Zoe was achieving and
decided to give it a go.

to pay my way. With these reasons in

mind, I set my first goal to fund my first
trip to Nigeria this August. And thanks to
Forever, that is exactly where I will be
this summer!

Initially, I didnt understand team-building

and focused my time on developing the
retail side of my business. But as I began
to understand network marketing, I
realised what a massive opportunity I had
in front of me. I initially joined Forever to
help support my teacher training which
starts this September. Forever seemed
like a way to build up an income so that I
could leave my current job and not worry
about financial support through this time.
Another reason that prompted me to
join was to finance trips abroad. My dad
recently moved to Montana, USA, and my
sister and her family to Lagos, Nigeria. I
wanted to be able to fund my trips to see
them without relying on family members

Its true that through my journey

with Forever, I have had to face some
difficulties. Belief in myself and my ability
to achieve has definitely been among
them. But, I have grown and developed
more in the last five months with
Forever than I ever thought I could.
At first, I struggled to believe it
would be possible for me to achieve
the big goals I set for myself, but now
I have experienced not one, but two
promotions in five months! Throughout
my challenges, I have received great
support from my upline and friends within
Forever. They provide me with endless
encouragement.

Another challenge for me was

overcoming the sceptics who tried
to belittle what I was doing. But now
I quietly realise just how crazy these
people are for not seeing the potential
in Forevers products and business
opportunity.

"I have grown and

developed more in the
last five months with
Forever than I ever
thought I could."
One of my favourite things has got to be
the amount of truly inspirational people I
meet through this business. The support
and encouragement you receive from
so many people, and the recognition
you experience for doing well is not
something I have experienced many
times before. Forever has just blown
me away.

Success Express events and meetings

are a great opportunity to gather stories
to retell. At our last Success Express,
there were some truly amazing testimonials.
One story which has stayed with me was
from Emma and Shaun Cooper you can
see it on our YouTube channel.

Business basics:

Websites

Compliance

We also understand the importance

of online retail and recruitment to the
success of your business, and know
that you are keen to direct customers
to a personalised, professional-looking
website. However, it is important that
this too is compliant. You have the
choice of creating your own business
opportunity website, says Sarah, or using
one of our ready-made, compliance-verified
versions. But if you wish to promote or sell
the products online, you need to take up
one of Forever's templated online shops,
either via www.foreverknowledge.info,
or the new FLP 360 platform.

Whether you're just starting out in the business, or are

a seasoned Forever pro, compliance can seem like a bit
of a minefield. But you neednt feel out of your depth.
We speak to our resident compliance expert,
Sarah Acklam, and give you a rundown of the basics.
With the growth of social media and athome technology, the world of marketing
and advertising is now far more interactive
than it was 10 or 15 years ago. This is great
for direct sellers like you, because it means
you are able to promote your business and
products yourself. However, for agencies
that are responsible for enforcing advertising
standards, and for the companies that are

answerable to them, this can be problematic.

With this in mind, anything that you publish
online or in print about the Forever business
opportunity, or products, must adhere to
certain rules and regulations. This might
sound a little scary but don't panic! We
are here to support you by providing the
information you need to get it right,
every time...

Company policy does not currently allow

you to advertise on third party websites.
You can, however, place business
opportunity adverts via third party sites,
such as local business listings or online
newspapers. If you would like to place
an advert online, you can use one of our
specially designed web banners, available
to download from www.foreverliving.com.

Choosing the right words

Spread the word with care

We know that you love our products
and are excited about sharing your
positive experiences with other people.
However, there are a number of organisations
that Forever and every other company
is monitored by to ensure we only make
substantiated claims about the benefits of
our products, according to UK and EU law.
These include: The Advertising Standards
Association (ASA), Committee for Advertising
Practice (CAP), Medicines Health Regulatory
Agency (MHRA), Veterinary Medicines
Directorate (VMD) and Trading Standards.
As a member of the Direct Selling Association
(DSA), we are also required to follow its own
rules and guidelines, as well adhering to
Forevers company policy. So, how do we
ensure we are doing this?

Forever | August 2014

Ask the experts

Ready-made tools

Regulatory bodies often have differing

ideas of what they consider to be an
acceptable advertisement, meaning
that the process of creating a compliant
piece of text can be a complicated
one. The best way for you to ensure that
your text is compliant is to use descriptions
already created for you by the Marketing
Department at UK Head Office. Alternatively,
you can have your own materials verified by
the Compliance Team, as Sarah Acklam,
Compliance Team Leader, explains. We are
here to help you with ensuring any advertising
you create is compliant. This should be sent
through to Head Office for approval. This way,
you dont need to know all of the intricate
compliance details we can do the hard
work for you, she says. Any materials in
need of approval can be emailed to
compliance@flpuk.net.

In order to represent the company and

the products in the best way possible,
and to help you grow your business, we
have a wealth of ready-made marketing
tools for you to use. Our professionally
designed and printed product brochure and
business brochure are fantastic examples
of this. These allow you to promote the range
of products and the business opportunity
in a format that is both stylish and easy to
understand, and of course, compliant.
The brochures and other high quality literature
items are available to purchase via the order
line and on www.foreverliving.com.

One of the most common compliance

mistakes made by Distributors is
inadvertently making a medical claim about
the products, as Sarah explains. I think most
of us know that we cant make any mention
of medical ailments or medical conditions,
such as arthritis, or even back-ache. But
we now also have to adhere to EU laws that
state we cant make non-specific health
claims, or unsubstantiated health claims,
about a product. An example of this would
be something like encourages good health.
If we say that about a specific product,
we have to quantify it with a legitimate EU
approved claim about an ingredient in that
product. To help you choose the right words
and avoid this mistake, weve put together
a quick vocabulary guide:

Examples of words to avoid:

+ Cures

+ Supresses

+ Suffers from

+ Alleviates

+ Prevents

+ Relief for

+ Helps

+ Enhances

+ Antibiotic

+ Boosts

+ Benefits

+ Anti-inflammatory

+ Improves

+ Safeguards
against

+ Balances the
immune system

+ Natural
+ Use for
+ Detox

+ Repairs
+ Reduces

Top tips for remaining compliant on social media:

Copy or share posts from the official
Forever UK Facebook page.

Give Aloe Matters magazine to your customers

designed and written for a customer readership.

Use the product brochure text, which

is both UK and EU compliant.

Use our free ad pack for guidance, available

to download from foreverknowledge.info.

A brighter future
Supervisors //
Alisha & Brian James

Sponsors //
Elizabeth & George Yiacoupis

For the last four years, I have been a stay-at-home mum, raising two amazing boys.
But during this time, my confidence had gone and my self-esteem had become low.
Before then, my career was as a support
worker for those with mental health
issues. My husband has been working
within the financial industry for over 17
years, and this has been very stressful
for him, with no time to spare.
It was Saturday, 5th of April 2014 that our
lives were going to change. I remember
that morning; I was lying in bed, the
sunlight coming into my room. I called
to my husband and said, We need to
go shopping. Thats when we met our
Sponsor, Elizabeth Yiacoupis. She invited
us to her home the following week, and
it was there we met John Curtis who
told us all we needed to know about the
Forever opportunity. We signed up within
a week.
Weeks later, we attended the Global Rally
in London; an amazing two-day event
that will stay with us forever. We met
some of the best people and realised

Forever | August 2014

what a supportive, encouraging and

amazing organisation Forever is. There
were thousands of people at this rally,
and from every country imaginable.
The founder, Rex Maughan, has truly
created a global organisation that allows
Distributors to reach out and connect
with people on a global scale.
In the past, I have been inspired by my
husbands late grandma who always
loved helping people. She worked within
the welfare department here and abroad,
changing the lives of those she came into
contact with. Her dream was for everyone
to live healthily. My husband can now
recall her talking about aloe vera, and
now we are part of Forever!
Forever has given us the opportunity to
help family and friends with their health,
as well as giving us financial security
for our family. We are no different to any
other family who has debts, stress and

no time. However, we know that we are

now on the road to a brighter future.
We have been promoted to Supervisor
within two months. We have never
looked back. My health is better and my
confidence is back. It has inspired us to
get to Manager as soon as possible, and
we will achieve this with hard work and
determination.
It is so exciting to be building a team
and teaching them what we have been
taught. It means we can now help them
to change the lives of others. How
wonderful does that feel?!
We would like to thank Jayne Leach
and John Curtis for their encouraging
words, and Elizabeth and George
Yiacoupis for their on-going support.
Onwards and upwards!

Eagle Manager //
Rebecca Cole

Sponsor //
Emily Crabtree

When I joined Forever,

I knew about the company,
but I was one of those
people who never gave
it the time of day. I was
four months pregnant
and running a home
dressmaking business
when I met Emily Crabtree.
I surprised us both
by announcing I was
interested! I loved my
business, but had realised
that unless I was sitting
behind a sewing-machine,
I wasnt earning.
With baby number two on the way,
we needed an extra income. My main
priority was to be a mum at home with
my babies. I did not want to have to pay
someone else to raise my children for me.
Initially, although I saw the huge potential,
I didnt believe I could achieve it. So, I
played it safe. I built my business at a
steady pace, just doing whatever Emily
told me. The month I gave birth, I hit
30CC, and thats where it all stopped.
I had a demanding newborn and my
business took a back seat. It was while
sitting watching Children in Need with

my new baby that I had my deciding

moment to change everything. I realised
I missed the people, the support, the
friendships, and the challenge of Forever.
I was a Supervisor earning just 100 from
my Forever business, but I believed that
it could change my life. I immediately
wrote a list of goals. One of those goals
was to reach Eagle Manager. Eagle was
important because I didnt just want to
be any Manager; I wanted to be the best
Manager I could be.

"My main tip is, whatever

you do, decide to do it.
Dont worry about the
how yet; your team and
upline are there to help
you with that bit."

I advise everyone to use the Eagle

incentive to grow their business. It
maintains your momentum after reaching
Manager and is a great practice run for
Chairmans Bonus.
My main tip is, whatever you do, decide
to do it. Dont worry about the how yet;
your team and upline are there to help
you with that bit. Secondly, visualise.
I surrounded myself with pictures of
Tahoe; I even slept in a Tahoe t-shirt!
We planned our trip and booked the
babysitter nothing was going to stop
me achieving Eagle.
Achieving this major goal made me
realise that I too can do anything with
Forever. I am now working towards
Chairmans Bonus, and the best bit is,
I get to show my team how to do it too.

Friday:
Manager session

The Big Event

Managers who have qualified for the event will be eligible to attend an afternoon of
sessions on the all-important Eagle Manager, Chairmans Bonus and Global Rally
incentives. Top Distributors will discuss why these incentives are so pivotal to the growth
of their business, and how they can be integrated into your business plan. Friday night
will provide an opportunity for Managers to mingle with Forever UK leaders, and enjoy an
exclusive dinner, with entertainment to boot.

Saturday:
Success Express

The biggest event of the year for Forever UK is fast

approaching, so we take a look at what you can
expect from this amazing weekend...
Forever is known for its awe-inspiring
events, regularly bringing together
thousands of people from the Forever
community to exchange ideas, boost their
business knowledge, and all-in-all, have
a great time. If you're a regular attendee
of our monthly Success Expresses, you'll
have an idea of what a Forever event has to
offer. But, in October last year, we decided
to take things up a notch by launching
The Big Event a bigger, better, even
more exciting twist on the monthly
Success Express, taking place once
a year in October.

We at Forever think it's important not only to hear success stories from within the
Forever community, but also to hear from those who have valuable experience from
the wider world of business. Special guest speaker, Mark Gallagher, has worked in the
Formula 1 motor racing industry for almost 30 years, and will be sharing inspirational
business lessons, learned from his diverse and fascinating career in this amazing industry.
Aidan O'Hare and Steve Hatchett will also be delivering their company update
to attendees, and we will hear more inspiring stories from people within the business.

Last year, the first ever Big Event,

saw some amazing speakers take
to the stage to share their success
stories. We were also given an insight
into the wider world of independent
business from special guest speaker,
Fraser Doherty, of SuperJam fame.

The masquerade ball

The masquerade ball, taking place on the Saturday night, promises to be a glamorous and
spectacular affair, with guests invited to don their best glad rags and masquerade masks.
Qualifiers will be able to enjoy this event for free, which includes surprise entertainment
and a delicious three-course dinner. For non-qualifiers, tickets can be purchased at 45.00
per head on a first-come, first-served basis.

This year promises to be just as

explosive, and with only a couple
of weeks left to qualify or purchase
a ticket, it's time to get your skates
on. Here's what the weekend has
in store...

Sunday morning:
Specialist Manager session

Special guest speakers

Qualifying Managers will be able to attend another training session on the Sunday
morning, with guest speakers John Curtis and Jayne Leach, offering yet more insight
into the business. Top Distributors John and Jayne have achieved phenomenal success
during their time with Forever, making this session a real must-see for any Manager hoping
to climb the ranks.

Aidan OHare,
Vice President of Europe
Aidan joined Forever in 1996 at the
UK Head Office to help get the UK off
the ground and running as a stable
company. Aidan then transferred to the
US Home Office and later became Vice
President of Marketing, developing a
more consistent product image. He is
now Vice President of Europe, which
gives him the opportunity to interact
with Distributors from across the globe.

Soaring Managers //
Cora McKeown and Daniel Hawkins

What achievement are you most

proud of?

"I like a challenge, and if

somebody tells me it wont
work, that drives me to
show them that it will."

The fact that Ive been able to instil

self-belief in others. My main aim is to
inspire other people to have self-belief,
because that is the main challenge in this
business. Id like to take this
opportunity to thank my Sponsor
Julie Buck, Philippa and
Robert Symes, and Jayne

Leach and John Curtis for

their leadership and

support, and also my

wonderful team!

New Soaring Manager, Cora McKeown, tells us how

understanding the importance of incentives has
impacted her business, and what reaching this new
pivotal level of the Marketing Plan means to her.
What was your working
background, prior to
joining Forever?
I used to be a nurse, and my last role was
managing the cardiology area at
Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. It
was very stressful, 70 hours a week. I had a
great career, but I just found that the more
senior I got, the more political and stressful
it became.

How were you introduced

to the business?
I left the NHS to stay at home with my son
and looked after him for five years until he
went to school. Then I started to look for
part-time flexible work I just did a Google
search and came across a ladys website
and went to meet her. She did a one-toone, and that was where it began.

What were your first impressions

of Forever?
I was absolutely blown away by it and was
very excited. I came away from the
one-to-one and just thought, This is it, Ive
found a way. The clouds just lifted and I
could see the light at the end of the tunnel. I
had no cynicism or preconceived ideas. I
didnt question it; they just told me that I
needed to do the work. I dont mind
working, so I knew this was going to work
for me. I like a challenge, and if somebody
tells me it wont work, that drives me to
show them that it will.

You recently received a

Chairmans Bonus cheque for
over $7,000. Congratulations!
What advice would you give to
Distributors hoping to pick up a
cheque for the first time next
year?
What I didnt understand at the beginning of
my business was that I would have to be
continuously recruiting. I just thought Id get
a core group of people in my team and that
would be it. But, if you want leaders in your
team, you have to be continuously
recruiting. Once I understood that, I never
looked back. You cant get Chairmans
Bonus without recruiting new people. Any
incentive that the company has ever put
forward has always been about new
business. You need to be recruiting
between two and five new people a month
to pull it off.
And you cant keep looking back at the
people in your team who arent doing
anything; youve got to move forward with
the next wave, the next group. I learned
something called the 80:20 rule. This states
that 20% of the people that you work with
are going to do 80% of the work, and 20%
of the people you recruit are going to earn
80% of the money. You soon come to
realise that you are part of the 20%; youre
different from the rest because you are
prepared to do the work. This is a tough
business and it doesnt work for people
who fall down at the first hurdle.

How important have incentives

been to you?
In the beginning, my business wasnt
growing because I wasnt even looking at the
incentives in the first year. I didnt really know
what they were; I thought they were only for
the top Distributors, and didnt understand
thats how you grow your business. Now
though, thats all I teach to my team to go
for the incentives. Chairman's Bonus has
given us the security to privately educate our
son, so it shows how much incentives can
impact your business and your life.

What does it mean to you to have

reached Soaring Manager?
Its getting me closer to my goal of achieving
Sapphire Manager and its shown me, yet
again, that this business works. The numbers
never fail its a statistically-driven business.
So as long as youre working the stats, youll
get to Soaring Manager. Im just blown away
by how much Im earning now, its
unbelievable. Its also great to be working
with a group of like-minded people; weve
got a really exciting team. Im on a mission
now to help other professional mums get
what Ive got, which is a new career,
flexibility around the family, and I'm my own
boss. For me now, its not about my goals,
its about their goals. I genuinely care with a
passion about helping others achieve what
Ive achieved when they're ready I will
always be happy to help them.

Becoming
a leader

Senior Manager //

Before I found Forever, I was working as a flight attendant and then as a recruitment
trainer. Once I had a family, I went on to having my own recruitment training business.
I loved being my own boss, but after having my second child, it became harder for me
to juggle work and family. I also wanted to be a stay-at-home mum. So, when I came
across Forever, I could see how it would offer me the flexibility of earning a bit of extra
money and still being there for my children.
In the beginning, I retailed and built a
solid customer base. However, it took me
over eight months to get my first team
member. I was so enthusiastic about aloe
that I scared most of my contacts away!
Then, I started reading Jan Ruhe books
and I practised. I would do eight one-toones a day just to build my skill set.
Once I recruited my first team member,
I was on a roll. I went straight to top
recruiter nearly every month within our
team. I remember Adam May, No.3
Distributor in the UK, once saying to me,
Bringing them on board isnt the issue.
I didnt have a clue what he was going
on about and just carried on. Then, I
learnt the next lesson, you cant want
it for them! or bless and release. I was
spending too much time with people
who didnt want what I wanted. I was
beginning to learn when it was time to
move on. I was becoming a leader.

In 2012, I sponsored my first Manager,

Emily Crabtree, who is building a
phenomenal team. 2014 brought me my
second Manager, Su Jackson, who also
has a phenomenal team and will have a
new Manager very shortly.

has been able to cut his working hours.

I have qualified for Eagle Manager 2014
and Earned Incentive levels one and two.
I am looking to do Earned Incentive level
3, Eagle Manager 2015 and Global
Rally 2015.

Thanks to Forever, I now have the skills to

Forever has now given me a lot more than

that little bit extra. We have just booked
ourselves an overseas holiday for the first
time in four years. We are looking for a

Dont care about what

Ensure you carry your goals

It will happen
Soaring Managers //
Daniel and Keely Backus

Sponsor //
Tracey Wright

"Some people might say that

our success is just down to
luck. But I say, work hard and
you create your own luck."

Daniels working background was as

a photographer in the advertising and
fashion industry, and his wife, Keely,
was a hairdresser when they were first
introduced to Forever. Keely got chatting
to a client about the product range,
after complimenting her on her healthylooking hair and skin. She was given a
video to watch about the business, and
after finally getting around to watching it,
went along to a business presentation.
She was immediately interested in the
opportunity to earn a little extra cash to
supplement her job. Most hairdressers
dont earn a lot of money, but they love
what they do, explains Daniel. That was
the case for Keely, she loved what she did,
but she wanted to earn an extra income
around it. Keely achieved this goal quite
quickly, and thats when Daniel, who had
initially been a little sceptical about the
opportunity, decided to take a serious
look at the business. Five months later
they hit Manager, and they also achieved
Chairmans Bonus within 18 months. Back
then, we were one of the quickest in the UK
to do it, but now people are doing it within
nine months! laughs Daniel. He was able
to quit his job as a photographer altogether
after just 11 months, and Keely too,
shortly after.
But it hasnt all been plain sailing for the
couple. They worked hard to build up a
team, but for a period of time werent able
to focus all of their efforts on the business,
due to personal circumstances. This
resulted in seven Managers dropping out

of their pay line. Many people would have

baulked at this setback, but not Daniel and
Keely. We knew the business worked, and
we just picked ourselves back up again,
he explains. Keely had lost both of her
parents within two weeks of each other
so we took quite a bit of time out because
of that. However, the income still carried on
coming in and it was fantastic to know that
Forever was there for us. We put our foot
back on the pedal again, resulting in our
business growing quite dramatically over
the last two years. A lot of people might
have quit, but we had great support from
our upline, Paul and Claire [Barradell], who
have always been there for us and guided
us, which has meant weve always had that
right attitude. Daniel and Keely have just
returned from a four-week holiday at their
family property in Italy when we speak,
and its clear they are extremely grateful to
Forever for allowing them the freedom to
spend time with their children and loved
ones, especially after everything they have
been through.
A happy-go-lucky outlook has served the
couple well over the years, and paired
with Daniels entrepreneurial upbringing,
has seen them achieve great success,
both as property developers, and in their
Forever business. My mum had her own
hairdressing salons and my dad was a
restaurateur, Daniel explains. I bought
my first investment property at the age of
21, and thats a passion weve continued
to pursue thanks to Forever. Ive always
been a bit of a go-getter, not letting things

get me down an it will happen attitude

if you like. Some people might say that
our success is just down to luck. But I say,
work hard and you create your own luck.
Although Daniel and Keely are excited to
receive recognition for achieving Soaring
Manager, it is watching their team develop
that has been the most rewarding. It feels
great [achieving Soaring], but its never
been a big focus for us, Daniel says. Its
been more about wanting to help the team
and help them get to Manager, which
ultimately does get us to Soaring, and to
Sapphire, and Diamond Sapphire, etc. So,
yes, its fantastic. But I think the pleasure
of getting to Soaring is through helping the
team achieve their goals and aspirations,
which in turn allows us to achieve ours.

Keely had lost both

of her parents within
two weeks of each
other so we took
quite a bit of time out
because of that.
However, the income
still carried on coming
in and it was fantastic
to know that Forever
was there for us.

Building a business with Forever

requires hard work, determination
and a will to succeed. Daniel and
Keely Backus, who have recently
risen to Soaring Manager level,
know this better than anybody.
Editor, Carrie Service, speaks
to Daniel about their eventful
journey with Forever so far, and
how theyve maintained their faith
in the business through thick
and thin.

Need to change your

email address on the
Head Office system?

After reviewing feedback from Distributors around

the world, and following further discussions with
members of the Global Leadership Team, Forever
is pleased to announce that with effect from June
month end, all Distributors that were active in
their domestic country will receive a global activity
waiver for July, regardless of their level.

If you need to update the email address we currently

Therefore, Distributors are only required to be active

in their domestic country and they will receive
an activity waiver for their bonus globally in the
following month. Managers and above have enjoyed
this benefit for some time, but Forever felt that by
offering this opportunity to all levels, it would better
enable our Distributors to build a global business.
