Endorsement Day
On November 17, 2014 was our endorsement in Luis Palad National
High School it started at exactly 9o clock in the morning. The supervisor of
Filipino department was the one who entertained us and sent us to the
receiving area just to wait for the arrival of the assistant principal. At that
moment the assistant principal had a short briefing about the rules and
regulation of the school. The supervisor of the pre-service teacher was the
one disseminating us to the heads of each department so that they can tour
us to their faculty and met all the teachers.
The head of the MAPEH department was not there to entertain us for
the reason that she was one of the facilitator in BATANG PNOY held in
Bacolod. The teacher in the faculty of MAPEH wasnt able to entertain us
because they were all busy doing the papers and going to their class. She
just said that maybe next week the head will be there and she will tell us all
the things we need to do when it comes to the shifting. We had a short tour
in the school and visit the different facility. The school was near the division
office of Tayabas.
We came back and met the head of the MAPEH. We had a short
briefing with the head in the supervisory building about the attitudes of the
teachers, shifting and also the requirements while we were staying in there.
She mention that we must do what our cooperating teacher asked without
complain and in every shifting there were 2-3 weeks so that, we will be able
to know our students and what kind of students they had.
The most awaiting event every year was the field demonstration or the
flash mob and that was being held in the HIGH SCHOOL WEEK. The person in
charge of that event was the practice teacher of MAPEH and it will serve us
our final demo. She said that while were there just enjoy our teaching and
always be humble all the time.
It was a warm welcome for us being their practice teacher in MAPEH
department. All of the teacher were approachable and always gave us some
advice just to make us more effective and efficient in teaching our students.

Town Meet2014
November 21, 2014
Tayabas Athletic Meethappen yearly in Tayabas City, Quezon and
hosted by the schools. This year, the hosts of the said event are West Palale
National High School and Rosario Quesada Memorial National High School
and it was happened in Luis Palad National High School. This event shows the
talent and skills of the students in terms of sports.
At the start of the event the players, coaches, and teachers go with
the parade and the schools presented their yell while they are on the parade.
The parade started at the front of Municipality of Tayabas and it was ended in
Tayabas East Central School wherein the program followed. The principal
formally open the competition.
Lot of games happened simultaneously in LPNHS. We practice
teachers help the MAPEH teachers to distribute foods to the players and also
we shows our support to the Paladians players. As a results of the game,
Luis Palad National High School is the over-all champion and best parade.
The players that won the specific game will compete to STCAA in Imus,
Cavite.

THIRD PERIODICAL TEST

January 8 & 9, 2015

We, pre-service teachers in MAPEH have been took part in

measuring the capacity of knowledge that our students have learned from
the various subjects they are taking. We have been tasked and assigned to
maintain the orderliness, discipline and silence of our students during the
exams.
It was the day we have witnessed the examination procedure in Luis
Palad National High School and the system went like these the exams
lasted for 2 days, 4 subjects have been taken by the students for the 1 st day
and another 4 subjects for the second day, due to the lack of rooms, the
school cannot accommodate the thousands of students to have their exams
simultaneously, so in this manner, they had their scheduling of exams, Grade
7 and 8 in the morning and Grade 9 and fourth year in the afternoon
meaning it was a half day class. In addition, they had their exams in their
homeroom and each students have been given an hour to answer each test
papers per subject. After the exams, the test papers have been given to the
particular teacher of that certain subject.
This scenario gave way for us to reminisce our high school days
specifically during our exams. Those times were really worth remembering.
We will never forget the feelings of excitement and a bit nervousness before
the exams, headache, mental block, anxiety and temptation during exams
and worries and happiness after exams. Thats how we felt in taking exams.
We were just putting our shoes to the shoes of our students, because upon
observing them at that moment everyone felt the same way too. On the
other hand, what we have done was a part of our service as a pre-service
teachers and we were very glad that we accomplished this task very well.
The positive feedbacks coming from our cooperating teachers satisfied as
the most.

Wellness Dance Exercise

High School Week 2015
February 3-6, 2015
High school week is celebrated yearly by the schools whether its
private or public schools wherein there are activities prepared by the head of
the schools like SSG or Supreme Student Government and the other
department.
In Luis Palad National High School the high school week is three days
celebration. There is no class in three days but full of activities. On first day,
there was a mass to start the high school week celebration and to bless all
the activities to be happened. Next activity is the bingo bonanza wherein all
of the students are included to the game. There are lot of prizes and the
students enjoyed the activity. After the first activity, we practiced our dance
in the field. There is also the voice at kundiman composed of students from
different grade level. All of the students wait for the highlight activity which
is Mr. and Miss Paladian. The activity starts at 6:00 p.m. and there are lot of
people watching the glamorous pageant of Luis Palad National High School
and it is composed of 10 beautiful and handsome students from grade 9 and
4th year.
On the second day of high school week, there is ballroom competition
happened in the gymnasium wherein MAPEH department won the said
competition. In the evening, the most unforgettable event for the juniors and
seniors which is the JS prom. It was happened in Queen Margarette in Lucena
City.
On the third day the wellness dance exercise has been performed by
all students of LPNHS. Wellness dance exercise is one of the activity in high
school week that present the skills of the students in terms of dancing. It also
enhances the discipline of every students in following the dance steps. It is
competition between grade 7, 8, 9 and 4 th year students. In almost 3 weeks
of practice, our skin becomes darker and darker. That is the proof that were
teaching under the rays of the sun. That was our sacrifices in teaching dance
and we are all eager to get the championship.
Before the highlight of this last day of activity, in the morning, all of the
teachers were performed the Zumba together with the students. The pep
squad members lead the Zumba activity. The teachers are so energetic and
some of the students were shy in participating the Zumba activity. After the
Zumba activity, all of the students participated the parade.
Before the highlight of the day, all of the teachers together with the
student teachers conducted the boodle fight. It was fun to eat together. After
the boodle fight the highlight is the next which is the wellness dance
exercise. Grade 7 is the first to present their dance followed by grade 8, 9
and 4th year. It was friendly competition so that all of the students accepted

the result. The 3rd running up is grade 9, 2 nd runner up is grade 7, 1 st runner

is grade 8, and the champion is 4th year.
