1374.14. The retiring collection for Diocesan Priests Training Fund amounted to 431.88. Many
thanks for your generosity. There will be a retiring collection THIS WEEKEND for the victims of
the Nepal earthquake tragedy. Eight million people have been affected by the powerful
earthquake in Nepal, please be as generous as you can and keep them all in your Prayers.
DECEASED Please pray for Pasqualina Trozzo RIP who died recently, her Requiem Mass will
be on Tuesday, 5th May at 10.00am. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in
peace. Amen.
MASS CHANGE Mass on Monday morning will be at 10.00am, and there will be no 9.30am
Mass on Tuesday morning, Mass will also be at 10.00am and will be the Requiem Mass for
Pasqualina Trozzo RIP.
CONGRATULATIONS to Lena Bialowas who was Baptised on Saturday, 2nd May. Please
pray for her parents, Godparents and Grandparents.

Please continue to pray for our children so that they will grow in their appreciation of
the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion.

CAR PARKING Please when parking at Our Lady of Peace we ask that you
take care not to block pavements or the corner of the road leading into St
Michaels Court. It is very difficult for residents of St Michaels Court to
access Lower Britwell Road when cars are parked on the corner obstructing
the view onto the road. When using the car park please drive in as far as you
can to allow us to use all the available spaces. Over the Saturdays when the
children are making their First Holy Communion there will be extra cars and
we ask please could everyone park considerately. ALSO CAR PARKING AT
ST ANDREWS PLEASE DO NOT park on the pavements, on the grass or
block the entrances to the carpark and to the Vicarage, please park
considerately.
MISSIO sends a message of appreciation to all supporters of APF/MH who donated directly via
bank transfers and cheques. This total of 455, when added to the Red Box total of 1212.56
(already reported), makes a total of 1667.56 sent from our parish for the year ended December
2014.

ST BERNARDS PREPARATORY SCHOOL, SLOUGH Deputy Headteacher required for


September 2015/January 2016, The Trustees and Governors are seeking to appoint an
enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated qualified candidate for this successful School.
He/she will be a practising Catholic committed to the Schools ethos of integrating faith with

CONFIRMATION PROGRAM The fifth Session will be on Tuesday, 5th May
from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and will be held in ST ANDREWS. The Sacrament
Confirmation will be conferred by Bishop Peter this year on Tuesday, 23rd
June at 7.30pm in Our Lady of Peace.
CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE INVITATION Monday, 11th May at 7.00pm, we will be
celebrating our WUCWO service followed by Wine and Cheese, and welcome all the ladies of
the Parish to join us.
ST VINCENT DE PAUL meet at 2.00pm on Tuesday, 12th May in the Sacristy at Our Lady of
Peace. New members would be welcome. If you know of anyone who would like a visit from the
SVP please advise Yvonne.
BLESSING OF THE GRAVES This will take place at Slough Cemetery on Sunday, 17th May at
2.00pm, and is an opportunity for us to pray for our deceased loved ones buried there.
A DAY WITH MARY National Shrine of Our Lady Walsingham on Sunday, 31st May. Meet at
12.20pm at Friday Market, Walsingham. Further details please see poster in Church porches.
OUR LADY OF PEACE JUNIOR SCHOOL Summer Fete is being held on Saturday 6th June,

WINTERSHALL THE LIFE OF CHRIST Saturday, 27th June. The greatest story of all time,
movingly recreated by a cast of over 200 authentic detail, outstanding quality sound and music
the Life of Christ is an experience not to be missed. It is both educational and entertaining,
amusing and serious. Running from 10.00am to 4.00pm, this is a promenade performance in
three acts with a brief interval, which takes you back in time to Palestine of Jesus day. See
