SITE: Bank of Mahi river Jaspur, near
Vadodara.
project was to built music college
with function of classrooms for different
area of learning music, arena for the
performances, auditorium,
director
office, staff, residence of director
Created plinth along with the natural
slope of the land and all the levels
are visually connected.
Triangular water body at the place
where Maximum circulation space
around.
Classrooms are under the trees
facing south direction and library open
to the terrace of the Classroom which
shaded by The trees.

jali.

SITE: Gandhidham, Gujarat
project was to built to research
& development center with function of
Reception, Waiting, Visitors gallery,
Laboratories, private laboratories, EPBX
& server server room, changing room
Auditorium,Library,
Canteen,
recreational area, Toilets.
Site has very gently contoured
land adjoining to the sea, no trees on
the site. Area is located on hot and
humid climate.so, using the fins on the
south facade to get defused light and
good ventilation. provided brick jali
where big opening has given on the
south faade.

HMIG, HIG.
For the MIG, Created pockets
between floors for interaction and
terraces and balconies are open to the
pocket..
For HMIG and HIG, created Plastic
space or multipurpose space which can
be use for small functions. Given a big
opening on north side and half shaded
terrace on south side.

CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARNESS

SITE: Polo Forest, Gujarat

AIM: The aim of the project is to give an
identity to the polo forest and making
people aware of its existence, while
tapping its archeological history and
botanical research potential.
My proposed programme is museum,
research laboratories, environmental
education camp, canteen, administration,
toilet blocks, dormitories, caretaker room,
security cabin, accommodation

CENTRE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARNESS

CONCEPT: the concept is to use the

existing trees to the maximum potential
and create an idyllic atmosphere with the
help of these trees.
To utilize the trees fully i had to make
every tree approachable with the help of
terraces.
The building has been oriented in
such a way that the existing trees help
shade the built and unbuilt spaces.
The network of the spaces has been
designed such that it allows easy
distribution of people allover the site.

Passage Using as a Shading element

The ramp & steps combination helps in

reducing circulation as well as provides a choice of
using either the ramp or steps or both.

The pergolas break the direct sunlight

coming on the porch while staggering them
increases their shading.

The louvers break the harsh sun that enter

the museum from the courtyards

The passage has been used as a shading

element for the courtyard during the mid-day
sun hours.

PASSAGE

Light Well
The Light Well has been
introduced to allow natural air and
light
into
the
archeological
exhibition space, the walls of these
well can also be used as an
exhibiting
surface
for
environmental exhibition. The two
Light Wells have also helped in
directing the circulation in the
exhibition spaces.

Mutual Shading
The building blocks provide
shade from the sun to each other
during different hours of the day
while also covering the narrow
passage between them
