Team Styles
Team Styles
Mr. Smith, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to lead this team and making University of

Phoenix to success. I will briefly outline my plans for leading the team. I will include personality
assessments, the current situation, and leadership styles for each member of our team. Our team consist
of myself.
Joes personality type is INFP. He is optimistic, principled, introverted, and creative. He will be
managed through his desire to perform outstanding work, and goal settings outlined. Jose may not be the
most vocal in the group, but I will elicit his valuable input. His training will be guided, yet require little
supervision as his work ethics are stellar. His personal ethics melt with our companies, and he will be an
asset to the team.
Rickys personality is ENFP. He is compassionate, outgoing, innovative and independent. He will
be loosely supervised as he understands the big picture for the organization. Rocky has come up with
some outstanding ideas in the past, and I will be encouraging him to continue. Rocky is very extroverted
and I will need to make sure that he doesnt control the topics of discussion. I value is insights and will
remind him if needed to include multiple aspects from the team. He is the type of guy that has a strong
emotional intellect and that will drive him to succeed along with the team succeeding.
I have an ENTP personality. I tend to be the underdog in the team. My integrity and motives are
without question. I like to play the devil's advocate and look at the situation from all perspectives. I am
very goal driven, and understand the strategic direction that this company is engaging in. I have come up

with some out of the box ideas for you in the past, and I will continue to do so with this team. I will throw
the ball out to the team, and let the players come up with the basics. I understand the timeframe and the
sense of urgency for this new department. I will keep us ahead of deadlines. Peer reviewed research has
shown that high self-awareness among leaders is connected to effectiveness (Brandt & Laiho, 2013). Our
team has shared each others Jungian Personality profiles, and we have discussed working with them.
The team members that you have assigned are outstanding in their own right, and with a little
leadership we will be a lasting success for The University of Phoenix.

Respectfully,
///Signed///
