ACTIVITIES AND
WELLNESS
Act I
Enter Berkeley Senior Services doors. You dont
need an appointment, just stop in. Check out the events
calendar.You will feel welcome.
Act II
Feel the Energy, Feel the Friendship and
Encouragement. Educate yourself as to what services, activities,
classes, meals and opportunities await you.
Act III Take Charge of yourself. Engage in all
opportunities available to you at Berkeley Senior Centerwe
are your advocate.
Final Act
Your Body, Mind and Spirit will be enhanced
in all positive ways!
By promoting and engaging in activity, wellness, and inclusivity, more Americans than ever before can Get into the Act. While Berkeley Senior Services
provides transportation, In-Home Care/Respite to family caregivers, home delivered meals, and Medicare Counseling to older adults year-round, Older Americans Month offers an opportunity to emphasize how older adults can access
the home- and community-based services they need to live independently in
our community. It is also an occasion to highlight how older adults are engaging
with and making a difference in those communities.
Throughout the month, Berkeley Senior Services will be conducting activities
and providing several opportunities that will empower seniors to remain healthy
and active! For a complete listing of activities, be sure to check out the calendars in this issue or visit our website: www.berkeleyseniorservices.org, or
like us on Facebook! ***

NEEDED!
The Computer Lab at Berkeley Senior Services is looking
for seniors to share their computer/technology
knowledge with other seniors. You do not need to be an
expert. All of our volunteers are simply
computer enthusiasts who enjoy helping others gain
more confidence with technology. In addition, the
time you wish to share is entirely up to you with
no great commitment. You may volunteer as
little as a couple hours a month or as much as a
couple hours a week! Not only is it fun and
rewarding, but you always learn something!
Please call 304-263-8873 and join us!
