Responsible for domestic and international projects ($30M+), yielding prot of more than 30%.
Managed large turnkey projects, i.e. Moisture Separator Reheaters (MSRs) for domestic and
worldwide nuclear eet. Examples include Grand Gulf NPP, St Lucie and Turkey Point, Fermi,
Palisades, DC Cook, Vogtle #3 & #4 and VC Summer #2 & #3 and many other.
Conducted training for plant operators in Slovakia (Central Europe), previously trained engineers
from Shanghai Electric Company (Shanghai China), Harbin (China) Hitachi, Toshiba and Kobelco
(Japan), Entergy, Duke Progress, FP&L (USA) etc.
Prepared and negotiated an agreement for cooperation with one of the largest engineering companies
in Europe/Spain: Iberdrola. Establish high level business contacts with European major utilities such
as ENEL Italy, CEZ Czech Republic, Slovenske Elektrarne Slovakia Republic, and Romania.
Instrumental role in winning new contract for Slovenske Elektrarne, supply of four Moisture
Separator Reheaters. Contract value more than 6M+ with approximately 28% gross margin.
Participated in yearly capacity planning and absorption for a facility capable of delivering 200k+ manhours.
Oversaw development and implementation of automated document control system for inter-company
implementation (DCAP).
(2007 2013)
Directed technical aspects of all projects within Moisture Separator Reheater Technology and Advanced
Programs Division:
- Review of technical specifications along with T&Cs review and acceptance. Generate
preliminary or conceptual design layouts for design engineering detail fabrication
development, as well as for FEA and vibration analyses.
- Reviewed and approved engineering packages and project documentation for ASME Section
VIII pressure vessels as well as European PED EN97/23/EC, China Pressure Vessel Code.
- Directly responsible for maintaining projects schedules and budgets. Instrumental role in
overseas project developing new business contacts and long-term potential.
(2004 2007)
Managed mechanical design and specications of the Moisture Separator Reheater Technology and
Advanced Programs Division:
- Stress analysis, seismic analysis and compliance with ASME B&PV code.
- Reviewed bid packages, customer specications and power plant walk downs.
- Played a key role in the fabrication of the pressure vessel in manufacturing facility,
domestically and internationally.
